Women around 5’6, what is your goal weight?

I'm 5'6 and my goal weight is around 145-150lbs. Currently I weigh 174.6lbs. My starting weight was 195.8lbs.0

My goal was 130 - I managed to get to 134 and looked awfully tiny - I was in a size 4. My body is happier between 140-150 so current goal is to get back to 140. COVID and depression made me gain a lot of my weight loss back.1

I’m 5’5” and weigh 209, but would like to get down to 165. I’m 50, so I’m not getting my hopes up too high to lose a lot 🙂0

5'6.5"/5'7" here. My goal weight is 130. I am currently 145 down from 178. I've gained a good bit of muscle but I still have at least 10lb of fat I'd like to lose. Right now I'm on the larger end of a size 6, would love to be comfortable in a size 4.1

I post my goal weight as 150 and then will assess. After my first child I lost my pregnancy weight and got down to 137. I got a lot of complements so for then at that age it was ideal. I just want to be in the healthy range now.0

If you’re thinking that age prevents weight loss in some way you’ll be happy to hear that’s simply not true. 😊
There’s plenty of people here (including me, at 59) quite a lot older than 50 who have had some amazing results throughout loss and maintenance.
There’s a tiny, tiny change in metabolism as you age but in reality it amounts to a number of calories in single figures over a day.
The perception that it’s harder generally comes from the fact that often, as we get older, the amount of activity associated with our daily lives diminishes. A daily 20-30 minute walk will go a long way to counteract that, though, whether or not you choose to continue any intentional exercise that you may have been doing all your life.
Don’t limit yourself due to myth! You can reach your goals at any age!4 -
5'5" and my ideal weight is 122lb with some good muscle tone

I'm 5'6 and my goal weight is 135. Once I start getting into the 140's I start to look really thin.1

I’m 5’6 and my goal weight is at 180 right now. I know that still overweight but I’m not doing this to lose weight, it’s for my diabetes. As I lose weight and see where my blood sugars are I’ll adjust that.3

I’m 5’6 but I felt and looked my best when I was around 160. I’m quite muscular because I was an athlete for most of my life. I’m looking forward to getting back there again.0

I’m 5’5 and I’m hoping to get to 140 lbs. I’m not too hung up on the number on the scale but more clothes size and body measurements.1

I'm 48, and I really have two goal weights: one at 180, when I'll have lost about 100 pounds and will be able to sort of assess what's under the fat, and one lower down. I am not sure what that one is yet. I've seen everything from 125 to 175 for my height, and I can dismiss the lower end of the scale because I am a solidly built woman with curves. So the assessment of where I'm at at 180. I'm more interested in what size I'll wear, anyway.1

I'm 5'5 and my goal weight is between 125-135lbs. I used to be in that range before and I felt my best. I'd stopped looking at my weight because my size and lightness felt good for my lifestyle and clothing choices. Then I slowly gained up to 155 lbs and I'm so unhappy with myself.1

5,6 here. I currently weigh 176. Ultimate goal would be 147 but I don’t think I’ve weighed that since I was a kid! I was 156 at my wedding 10 years ago and looked and felt slim so somewhere between 147 - 160?2

5’6 and 140lbs right now. Overshot my pre-ED weight by a lot. My goal is around 110-115lbs, maybe 120lbs if I have more muscle. I have a small frame though, so probably closer to the lower end.0

I'm 5'6" and my goal is currently 135, although I actually got down to 135 about 7 years ago and it mostly just made me feel deprived of the foods I like. I felt much more balanced and comfortable with myself at 150, so we'll see once I get there if I actually want to lose that last 15 pounds...1

Be careful. At 5,6 115lbs is the lowest “healthy” weight within the BMI range. Even with a small frame, 110 would be very very light.

At 5'6 110-115 lbs puts you in the underweight category. 120 puts you towards the lower end of the normal weight.1 -
I would like to be around 160-170. I'm still over 200 after breaking my leg a few years ago and not being able to walk for three months, so I really would like to get this off. I don't want to be 120 like I used to be in my 30's, that is too light.1

I started at 280 and I'm shooting for 150 (currently 199).1
