I am truly glad to hear that. I hope your case was not too severe and your road to recovery is short.10 -
Two pairs of trousers I tried on were way too big this morning. I couldn't find my belt, I ended up changing them after they fell down chasing the kids!15

On Friday I rode my Gazelle in the AM for 45 minutes then later did a 5.75 mile trail ride on my mnt bike. Then on Saturday I did a very intense 10 mile trail ride.
The 10 miles and level of the ride was by far the best I have done in decades, if not ever.

I took my new boat out today to see how well it would do going upstream. The first half mile is the most challenging. I didn't know if I'd be able to make it. It was still difficult, but unlike in my whitewater canoes, it was possible. I ended up paddling three miles upstream. Next time I might try to get past that next shallow steep part and go farther. It's much nicer the farther away from town I got.

I logged over 100 miles this past week riding my bike. I couldn't have done it when I was heavier.17

I had a rough emotional day. There are candy bars in the freezer. I had one, within my calories. I am not having another, and I'm okay with that.31

I have a side of clothes hanging that i never go to because they were to small. It finally clicked that i could try some on and some fit. some days it just don't seem real. But I'm putting in the work so i am proud that it is working.19

1 month in and I was nervous to call the dietician. I have been working hard and doing the right things, but it was intimidating to speak frankly about my food issues with a stranger. She was really helpful and gave me good guidance. I am proud of myself for being honest.30

Being new here the first thing I did before replying to this thread was finding out what NSV meant!
Well after losing about 24 lbs in 4 weeks (about 60 to go) I noticed my feet don't look fat anymore! Also I have been able to incorporate some running in my daily walk the last 10 days. Can't wait to run a full 10k again!!!18 -
Massive NSV from this weekend. The picture on the left is from a ten mile run I did a year ago and on the right is my ten mile run from Saturday. Massive improvement in my average pace and I’m really excited about it!

Think this is the first photo I've seen of you. You look like you feel AWESOME in both pics! Was the most recent route at 9:51 pace the same as the original one?7 -
I was able to climb to the top of Stone Mountain. Whew..I did it!32

I had planned to make pizza tonight using a bought (but not pre-rolled) dough, a packet of cream cheese (past use-by date), a ball of mozzarella, a pack of prosciutto and some artichokes. I’m a sucker for using whole packs of things in my cooking for convenience.
Well I was looking over the calorie details when I got everything out of the fridge and thought it looked quite steep, even when considered that I was planning for it to stretch to 3 meals.
And then the dough was a *kitten* to roll and came out slightly smaller than I intended. So I used a scant half of the cream cheese, 2/3 of the mozzarella and half the prosciutto. This is a NSV because I stopped myself from overloading my pizza from sheer laziness.
Then I thought because the pizza had a smaller area than I wanted that maybe it would just be 2 meals. However I decided that I would fill half my plate with salad and then put a piece of pizza that fit nicely on there and see how I went. If I wanted a second piece I had to add as much salad again. Turns out I could easily restrict myself to 1/3 only so that’s my second NSV!29 -

I have three pairs of jeans on which the zip won't. go. up. yet. SO frustrating to be so close. But of course the lower belly fat is always the last to leave on me.8 -
Someone asked me today if I was a runner. I have been asked about my workout routine many times in the past couple of months. People never assumed that I work out before.28

I had some unexpected meals today (my roommate wanted to cook), so I had to make some adjustments to my meal entries. The NSV is that I was still able to hit my calorie goal!23
