This is my Great, Great Grandmother, the wife of Captain Pabst of Pabst Blue Ribbon fame. As was fairly common then, she lost several children at a young age.
The painting now hangs in the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

This was done by a little old man in small mountain town in Colorado. I went there to escape some stuff going on in my life, and talked to him for a few hours. There was a farm for sale, and they had a bunch of sheep. I joked that I would buy that land and let them live out their lives peacefully. A few days later he found me in town, and gifted me this. He said he drew it for me. I’ve always loved it, and I have it hanging in my home it to remind me to eventually slow down, and live simply.8 -
My lil brother painted this well over a decade ago.6 -
These were my favorites from my last trip to our museum:

That is gorgeous.
Serene...and leaves me wondering if he is looking at the beautiful horizon, or down off the edge of the cliff.

Michaela Stark is a designer known for creating lingerie that accentuates body parts we are conditioned to hide. Her delicate underwear line subverts archaic beauty ideals and celebrates our so-called imperfections. I thought it was very cool.

As art it’s interesting. And it looks even more uncomfortable than traditional lingerie3 -

I would also have the same facial expression if there was a bird sitting on my head.3 -
