    I'm back down to pre-vacation weight but seem to be stuck at 160.2!! NSV: after trying on 3 different pairs of capris with the same result (falling OFF my body) I went shopping today and was successful in getting 2 new pairs of size 10!!!:drinker:

    I did pretty well on veggies this week but I know I can do better (that...and I just stocked the refrigerator FULL of produce) so I'm going to continue pushing the veggies this next week as well as increase strength training. I seem to feel I've had a "harder" workout if it's cardio so I tend to do that more often...Gonna change that NOW! At LEAST 2x this week

    I have a meeting tomorrow morning and then will be working hard at this. If I didn't have this meeting I would nave been running my last day of C25K and completed the program. Maybe in the afternoon. One thing I forgot to mention this morning is that I meassured and am continuing to lose inches.

    Goal for this week, eat three good meals a day... my busy hockey mom life has started yesterday I only had supper.

    Found my way over here once I found my way back to the forums...
    I had a rough couple weeks and fell right off the face of the earth for a bit. Thanks to those of you that checked in on me. I really appreciate it and it helped me pick myself back up and get moving again.
    *sigh* now I have even more to lose.. I was going in the wrong direction.. Quick hit the reverse button!

    Well back to having the Internet working YAY... updating on my iPhone was too tough for the forums so know I am back! Congrats to everyone who had worked hard in reaching their goals they set for themselves. For some of you it showed on the scales for others it did not. The biggest thing is not to give up hope, I find my weight fluctuates more than anything. Logging and making adjustments has helped a lot. Getting in 10 cups a water a day minimum has helped a lot. Sometimes we just have to pat ourselves on the back for staying committed even when the scale does not move, or moves in the wrong direction. And remember we are all here to support one another through this together!!!!

    Good morning all - Hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend! I splurged yesterday with some amazing italian food...thankfully it didn't make a difference on the scale this morning. It had been a long time since I had allowed myself to splurge so I really enjoyed it. Back on the wagon today and shooting for 155 next week!!!!

    Went to the lake over the weekend. Gained 2 lbs. not what i wanted at all but it's okay i'll just get back on track and lose those two lbs. Stay focused, i will! So i'm back up to 199.8. This week i will be exercising. I can't seem to get motivated on that. I'm in Texas and it is so hot here. I'm a walker and i don't own a treadmill or have a memebership to a gym. That leaves me with walking outside and this week it is so much cooler here so i will be taking advantage of it.

    Hey everyone! We are back from our trip to the US (Boston) - a day late and probably a lot more than a dollar short. I hate to even think about the credit card bill. LOL! We did some shopping, eating, sightseeing, went to a couple of ball games...

    I ate horribly. Logged everything, but went over my calories every day. Did lots of walking, stairs up and down to the trains, etc. but no "real" exercising. Nothing fast, sustained. Nothing that could be considered "official" exercise. Didn't get my water in most of those days, either. But I'm not going to worry about that now. Because we were on vacation. And I will start fresh tomorrow. I know that I can get back on track because I so badly want it. Eating all that junk doesn't even appeal to me at all anymore, but it's fast, it's convenient, and it's there. It's also cheap. If I had endless supplies of money, I may have made better choices, but at twice the cost of the burger and fries... I don't really want to be paying for this vacation for the next year. LOL! So, it's over and I'm back to it tomorrow.

    Oh, yeah. We were supposed to come back yesterday, Labour Day. Then my husband heard the Stanley Cup was going to be in Boston yesterday. Since we were already there, how could we NOT go see it (his reasoning.) Normally, we would leave around 8ish in the morning and it's a full day of travel (with stops for meals, gas, breaks, etc.) so we'd get home around 11 at night. Yesterday, we didn't leave Boston till 3:30 in the afternoon. There was no way we were going to make it home yesterday - I didn't feel like travelling till the middle of the night. So we decided to go about halfway, stay in a hotel overnight and finish the journey today. We left by 9 and still only got home between 3 and 4 (but we had to set our watches ahead by an hour at the border.) Long story short - I'm back and ready to get right back into it.

    I did weigh in on Thursday before we left and was down 1.3. Since I usually weigh Saturday, it's only two days early for my weekly weigh in (even though it's four days earlier than the Monday for our group), so I will use that for Sept. 5 and I will weigh again on the 10th and report that for my Week 4 weight (if no one has any objections.) I'm sure it will go up next week as I have to pay for my indulgences, but I will expect a loss for Week 5. So I still think I can make my goal.

    Again, I want to thank everyone for their continued support and apologize for my absence during vacation. But I'm back and I'm here for everyone if anyone wants to chat or add me, feel free. It looks like I missed a lot of posts while I was away, so I could not read them all, but it looks like everyone's still doing a great job. Congratulations to all - keep up the great work! Together we can do this!

    My goals for this week are to get back on track:
    1) 10-12 cups of water a day (since I became a "heavy drinker" I don't feel 8 is enough, I find I feel dehydrated still until I get up to the 10 or 12 mark.)
    2) walking at least 3km every day
    3) staying under my calorie goal all seven days
    4) eating a lot less sodium
    5) eating lots of fruits and veggies

    Wow...what a fun weekend. I went Hiking on Saturday, celebrated a friends 50th birthday on Sunday ( ate a cupcake ) and laughed all weekend. My boys made it home from the forest camping trip, wet but renewed. :laugh:

    Today was my first day back to work since the end of June ( cafeteria cook at a middle / elementary school ) Big NSV - It was so nice to see everyone and they all made wonderful comments about my weight loss and how good I'm doing. It naturally made my day :blushing: :bigsmile: I didn't lose anything this week....( damn cupcake ) but I did a walk/run , and hit the gym today. I really miss it when they are closed. I see a lot of scale victories this week, and some stayed the same like me. Congratulations to all our success on sticking with it.

    This weeks goal is to try some new type of exercise. I want to either start c2k5 or hit the Latin Heat class on Friday. ( I'm not a great dancer, but they look like they had such a good time when they come out of the class ) I think it's my gyms version of zumba. Oh yea...and to lose some weight ....move scale move....

    No loss, but no gain either after a long weekend of vacation! This weeks goals are to continue with the water, eat less processed foods, stay within my calorie goal and exercize at least threee times.

    Sounds like LAFitness to me. I go to "latin heat" on Fridays and wish I had another free day to add more that is because I am doing C25K for now. As a ex non-runner I highly recommend it. Anyway enjoy!

    Aloha All,

    I joined this challenge because one of my MFP friends encouraged me to do this. Thank you for allowing me to be part of the 50 peeps participating in this wonderful challenge!

    Today was a tough day because I was with clients from 10AM to 2:30PM and ended up being extremely hungry and dehydrated. I had them follow me in the car to a second appointment and thankfully, I had water and a granola bar in the car. I was loosing it until I consumed these items! Big "Ahaha" moment... always have something in your car, purse or back-pack for these moments.... Aloha for now, Maui Sue

    Oh my heck! I am getting so frustrated!! I ended up weighing this morning because I "felt" like I had lost! OH NO! I gained the 3 pds back that I have lost!!! :mad:

    Not only that what decides to visit me this morning! TOM!! Ugh! I have been so good and working out, even when I don't want to and I have to make myself! I have been great on my eating etc.

    Sorry to be such a downer the last few days! I refuse to give up but dang this is frustrating!!

    Congrats to all those who are doing great!! :drinker:

    Gained weight but I really wasn't watching what I was eating so what did I expect?

    New goal this week - get back on track and add some exercise. Good news is: I have finished my steroid treatment and should be able to focus this week :)
