    I usually assume that they are much quicker witted than I and don't need my standard 2+hrs to formulate a decent response 🤷🏽‍♂️...

    I think it may say more if she waits a bit, because then I know that she's on my level and also waits to think out her response 🤷🏽‍♂️

    Should i make sure they know how much down time i had during which i could’ve texted but chose not to?

    “Hey u- got yr text friday, hope u had a better weekend than i did. Spent the whole weekend laying in bed recovering from a mild cold that totally wasn’t serious enough to incapacitate me”

    make sure you mention something about going out for a coffee with a friend too just to be safe

    Well...when I text someone right away it's either because you're really important to me or you don't bore me to death. In the norm, I either ignore your text for a few hrs (this depends on how they prioritize me in their schedule/life) I reply in my head and forget to actually type it out or I'm super busy where I read it but can't reply atm. And lastly, because I'm typing is and I can't respond to them 😂
