I am a 40 year old wife and mother of 5. I got down to my goal weight of 138 in February 2020 to fit into my dream wedding dress for my August 2020 wedding that we had been planning and then the world ended. We rescheduled, downsized, and changed everything about our day multiple times that we spent 2 years and a ton of money on, but in the end we had to cancel. I ended up getting married in our backyard in a $30.00 amazon dress with just our 5 children at the ceremony on 7/27/20 because of Covid. It wasn't anything like I thought it would be, but I am still very happy to be married to the love of my life. My husband and 3 adult children were all laid off and sent home from school and my 2 younger ones had their schools closed in March and went to online school. My state completely went on lock down and is just barely lifting restrictions. We have not had indoor dining at restaurants open since March. I was sent home to work with all of the kids and my husband 24 hours a a day. It started to take a toll on all of us. The stress eating came out and I gained 31 pounds in 6 months. I guess wearing yoga pants everyday for 5 months wasn't such a good idea, lol. They finally opened offices back up last month and I had to start wearing real clothes again and felt like a stuffed sausage in my work pants. So back to MFP it is.
