My favorite pair of comfy yoga pants that are at peak comfyness after being worn/sat in for a few hours...now were perfect right out of the dryer! No breaking-in necessary before becoming comfortable!15

Hadn't planned on doing anything today b/c I'm sore and just lazy.
Daughter joined a girls running group recently and has been enjoying going for walks (and her jogging here and there).
Well after her virtual learning, she wanted to go for a walk. Instead of continuing my lazy day... I grunted myself up, got dressed and we took a nice quick walk outside. I even jogged just a little here and there too which is a huge deal for me.26 -
A NSV from last week was opening my closet and realizing that all my pants either fit now. They used to be so tight that I had to wear them for awhile to be comfortable... not the way to start a good day.14

The antique art deco diamond ring my BF bought me 6 years ago for our 10 year anniversary fits again!
Inevitable downside: most of the rings I bought the last few years (and there are a few! I love online jewelry auctions) are too big now.20 -

I'm back down to the size at which most of my "good" clothes fit again. 5 months and 42 pounds later. I'm patting myself on the back for not spending much money on the larger size I've now shrunk out of. Just a small bag of Old Navy basics is left to donate. If anyone takes clothing donations these days.Though I am questioning the goal weight I picked. I'll need a whole new wardrobe if I lose another 22 pounds but I'd REALLY like to make it down to a normal BMI.16

Running NSV - I broke my 1K, 1Mile, 5K and 10K PRs in September. The 10K was by more than 3 minutes on a day I felt like crap.
Yesterday at the doctor when nurse told me to take off my shirt, I did so without feeling self conscious about how I would look with no shirt on.

I noticed that if I need to go somewhere quickly I can just trot or walk quickly again, no huffing or puffing or strain. It feels sooooo good.15

So I have a weird NSV... After several months of exercising regularly, eating better, reducing alcohol consumption, AND remembering to take my vitamins (because it's right on the MFP page for logging stuff!).... my finger nails have started to grow well. I could NEVER grow my nails. They always split and chipped so easily. I've decided to chalk this up to a better life style. 23

You could get them resized to fit? (I sympathise: I had to buy another ring to keep my wedding ring on when I lost weight. My wedding ring is engraved so I don't want to have it made smaller.)

They're all vintage silver rings and the cost of resizing would probably be as high as the price I paid for them 🙂 But yeah, I might choose a few I really like and that are resizeable when I've been in maintenance awhile!

The first picture was taken by accident from my webcam and I have to chuckle. I was horrified when I found it on my computer.
16 pounds and 7 weeks between the 1st and last picture. About 50lbs to go, but it's progress!

Did my Harry Potter Virtual 5K today and beat my previous 5K time by 7 minutes (December 7, 2019). I am 36 pounds lighter now than I was then and I ran the fastest mile than I've ever run (11'49") in my life! Wahoo!!

I’ve been thinking about taking up swimming again and the other day I decided to try on my old swimsuit from high school, a Speedo EU44. It fits!
But I was also doing a bit of online shopping and noticed a steep discount for a new swimsuit and thought that perhaps I could reward myself. I checked the Speedo size guide and noticed I meet the widths for a EU40 except for the waist circumference. After dithering back and forth I ordered in this tiny (to me) size and it arrived today. I can get it on, but it’s a bit to tight for a good workout. I think it will be perfect in a month or two and then hopefully last me a long time. It’s crazy to me that I bought regular size swimsuit, and not even the largest regular size they carry.17
