    My Name is Donna. I am 60 years old and I live in the Midwest USA. I am 5’ 5” tall. My relapse in my weight loss journey started last November (2019) so I am here to make sure my situation does not get worse as we enter another season that is laden with many food-filled holidays. Most challenges weigh daily or weekly. I will experiment with weighing intermittently during this challenge.

    My highest weight: 253
    Highest weight on MFP: 235
    Weight on Aug 20, 2020 (Challenge start): 209.5
    Goal: 194.5 by January 1st 2020


    I am starting this challenge late.


    October 18: 208.2 My weight went up overnight. Too much bread.
    October 21: 206.2 Wow! Proud of my changes but it will likely level off soon on my scale.
    October 27: 210.4 Travel Yesterday. I wasn’t going to post today but I just want to face my truth. I also want to share that the struggle is real. We are in this together folks! Today I will try for a great healthy day!

    I just love that introduction, it is short and sweet and tells us so much information, there are often times when people go what am I doing wrong or can you help me and we're left guessing who we are dealing with.

    Donna how are you doing on your exercising, are you an able body? Are you incorporating any movements into your daily routine, such as walking to work instead of driving the car, or walking to the grocery store or the bank?

    It has been awhile since I saw numbers below 190. Thanks everyone for advice and support it does make a difference. @MadisonMolly2017 I decided to keep my goal and up my exercise but your comments was a driving force to motivate me to make changes.

    It's nice to see people still at it and new people who have joined since I last posted. My weight loss has slowed down a lot. I weighed in at 191.6 this morning.

    I have started a new job that I love, and while it burns a lot of calories, I was basically at maintenance because I was so hungry for the first three weeks. I'm back at a reasonable deficit now and have cut carbs to reduce my hunger.

    I won't make my goal of 174, but I still hope to get to 184 which will be 50 pounds down.

    Anyway, congrats to everyone who is sticking with it.
