Ran for 24 minutes straight yesterday. That is the first run interval of that length since before nerve injury 2+ years ago! Recovery continues!27

I know what you mean! Sucralose leaves a sort of a stinging sensation on my tongue afterwards. But the best thing about not eating processed food is that the diverse and lovely flavors of veggies really pop for me now, and even tofu (plain) is palatable!Sand_TIger wrote: »I can now taste food additives. Second week of waking up earlier to get a run in in the morning. The winter darkness has started to settle in and when it's so dark at 5pm, I have a very hard time to get out the door and run.19

I gave myself yesterday unlogged to use food as a coping mechanism. That's not the victory.
The victory was that last night I prelogged today, got up today, and with relief ate a normal breakfast and am having a nice normal day on my diet. One day isn't the ruination of it all. I'm going forward with determination, focus, kindness, and love.31 -
I have NOT let any current stressful situations derail my health goal. Rather than eat my way through the left-over Halloween candy, I brought it to work to let other people enjoy it.19

I will record late night excess in that days log, but it’s the stress of seeing the number go up that can make the whole thing worse. I don’t struggle with this hardly at all anymore, but when I do next I will use this tactic. Thank you for sharing!7 -
I've not worn my workout shorts since about September maybe. I popped them on today as I trying to find the motivation to go for a run and they're loose on me around the thigh. They've never been loose around the thigh. They've always been a little tight when I bring my leg up, but they don't pinch at all. My thighs are something I don't notice my weight loss in at all visually, so having this happen is really nice.26

I make a really healthy "ice cream" I can use as a meal. I mix up a cup of diabetic Slimfast shake powder with nonfat milk as usual. Either chocolate or vanilla flavor is good. Cool it down in fridge, this allows liquid to thicken. When cold, pour it into a bowl and add a cup of cut up strawberries, and put in the freezer until soft-frozen. It is delicious with the strawberries in it, and satisfies my ice cream craving without going over my calorie, fat, or sugar limits.17

I can do two full all the way to the ground push ups from my toes, not my knees! Sloooowly getting stronger.
Also, maybe a little controversial, but I’ve lost inches in my bust (which helps make the push ups easier) and noticed I’m not quite filling out one of my bras as usual!20 -
When i first started walking again, i walked with a cane. Then i walked carrying the cane. Now i think the cane is in a corner somewhere... I'm not sure.46

I went from a tight size 20 to a comfortable size 16.24

Repurchased warm jeans and jeggings for winter. Last year I had the 16s and wore them through in the crotch, because chub rub. Now not only am I back in 12s comfortably but my thighs barely rub when I walk. I also grabbed the 10s because they were 50%off thinking they will be 'goal pants.'
I was able to get into them already! A few more pounds until they are comfortable to sit down in, but I was surprised to get them on at all. YAY!25 -

I had a similar experience last night. My size 16 pants we're getting so loose that I needed to go by at least one pair that fit better for me in public. I grabbed a pair of 12s and of course you can't try them on currently so I had to take them home and they're a little loose. I'm wishing I'd grabbed a pair of tens for the upcoming weeks. I am quite happy with that outcome. Congratulations to you too.21 -
Usually wore a 46c bra. Bought a 44c bra yesterday and it fits perfectly. Same brand so I trust the sizes. I knew I lost inches in that area because I kept fidgeting at work trying to keep my bra from moving around. Not a big difference but I'll take it22

Logged my first 10K under 7min/km today.
So far it looks like November might become the first month where my pace is sub 7 on average - that would be a huge milestone!25 -
Finally, my lats (latissimus dorsi) and delts (deltoids) look like they have grown...back and shoulders looking slightly more defined...all my lifts have improved and are improving, just as lockdown 2 started in the UK...oh well 4 week deload here we come!13

In July 2019 I bought a tshirt at a concert and it was too tight. I didn’t start my diet until this March. Today I’m wearing that tshirt and it fits exactly the way I want it, slightly loose!25

My sister is visiting, and usually that involves eating out and/or unhealthy eating, but I stuck to my healthy plan this time!32

Spouse made a really tasty casserole and I wanted seconds - but stuck to one appropriately sized portion and logged the components of it.24

I had to buy a new autumn/winter jacket because my old one was way too big, made me feel really frumpy. My new jacket is UK size 12. My last coat was a 'Large'. It's amazing how dropping a size or two really makes you feel different - and particularly having properly fitted clothes
