Oh that is amazing!!4 -
My weight loss buddy fell off the wagon over the holidays. My NSV is that they are back on, back to checking in daily, drinking their water, and being honest and accountable!
There are so many resolutioners (like the couple of stories above) but my little team has been chugging along for almost a year and still going strong, despite a couple of little bumps on the road.27 -
Hubby and I went to an over night spa retreat and for the first time I did not have to ask for the "big girl" size robe, I fit right into the one size fits all and it was actually wrapped around me... #Winning36

I can button my pre-baby clothes! Still a tab tight, but it's getting there25

Got an award last night from the Y. Okay, so it's just something printed out, but it means I have been following the coaches program for 6 months and graduated from it. I really think the guy was surprised I stuck with it. Still went again this morning.42

That is great. Let's face it. The stats are not in our favor as far as sticking with these types of things. Well done!7 -
I'm a bit of an emotional wreck right now- BUT I'M NOT STRESS EATING!44

I went out for a high calorie breakfast on the weekend. I didn't allow it to completely derail me. I made a healthy dinner and moved on. And tried to not let myself stress about the extra calories (a big issue for me previously).
And I hit ONEDERLAND today!!!!51 -

That’s tough to do, congrats! But if you find you’ve just gotta have something, try tootsie pops or some other sucker. I’ve done that through stressful situations, or just times when people usually eat, like at movies. Has really helped and saved tons of calories. Hope your stress levels go down soon.8 -
I took advantage of after Christmas sales and bought a few new pairs of pants. NSV #1 is that they are the first non plus size pants I've bought/worn in over 7 years. Almost cried when I put them on. NSV #2 is that only two weeks later they're already feeling loose and baggy! For the first time ever I'm hoping clothes will SHRINK in the laundry!23

Four Victories!!!
1. Wife noticed muscles
2. Cute lady we know mentioned that I am looking good, wife's elbow found my ribs
3. Had to buy a new belt because the old one didn't have enough holes
4. Ran 1/4 mile last night at 6 mph with a 3% incline. Then finished the rest of the three mile walk at 3 mph

Only one...getting back on MFP...
I started this lifestyle change with MyFitness Pal in 2014 and loss over 60 lbs, down to 185. After moving to the country and a change of work schedule, I've gained that back and some. I have a million excuses I can come up with but the truth is I just stopped trying. When I would read stories on here about how people fell off the wagon, I told myself that would never be me. Well, here I am...3 steps back and starting over. Please add me as a friend as I could really use the support and I'll give support. I've done it once, I can do it again, but even better! Thanks!

Biggest NSV yet. After over a year of my example my boyfriend has got a MFP account! Haven't managed to convince him that 2lbs per week loss is too fast for the amount he has to lose but he'll soon learn. Baby steps.14

I didnt sleep last night so when i went off to work thismorning i hadnt felt hungry so i didnt eat, Was supposed to be a short day. Halfway through the day my lack of sleep caught up to me and all i wanted in the world was an icecream cone and donuts. Managed to get black coffee and avoid the donuts. And then i walked my butt home at 2pm Made a good meal and banana nicecream
Funny how lack of sleep effects you21 -
Two people at my gym who hadn’t seen me in awhile stopped me this am & told me how good I looked in the crowded fitness center. Felt good to get public recognition like that21

I was able to wrap a towel completely around me today! It is a big towel, but I couldn't do it before, so I'm happy!24

My daughter took me to the movies today.
Something I rarely do. ( For fear of not fitting in the chairs).
I sat in the chair and looked down. I had plenty of room each side of the seat. My arms fitted comfortably on the armrest.
I cried. Overwhelmed with the realisation, that for my entire adult life, I have squished into those chairs. My enormous thighs spilling over onto the occupant beside me. My large batwings, always hogging the armrest. My legs cramping, because they were so squished.
I am 51 years old.
I was overwhelmed with emotion.
So to each of you, struggling on this journey, feeling you are never going to make it.
Take heart. It is going to happen.
These “Little Victories” are stepping stones on the road to your goal.
It’s just one step at a time.
One day at a time!88 -
Recreating this photo and being able to see the difference!

I’ve just started (again!) but this morning I was at the zoo with the little boy I look after and was overcome with hunger suddenly. Nothing available was healthy other than a very small basket of fruit. I had an apple and passed over the chocolate croissants and pastries and chicken and everything. Small thing but definitely a victory for me when I was so hungry.31
