    11/13-123.4 When I first lost weight last year, these 10 day challenges were the source of my success. I am committing to weigh everyday and complete my food diary daily. Starting on the weekend will be challenging, compounded if restrictions start up again. Planning pickleball indoors today, too cold for outside. Bad start missing my body pump class this morning, will try to do this afternoon. Good Luck everyone, and stay healthy.

    44, 6' trying to maintain at 150. Have to track here for accountability. More water, more low/0 calorie snacks when starving.

    I'm hovering around maintenance but was creeping up so here I am. Trying to keep it within 5 lbs of goal

    1) Exercise at least 30 minutes 4 to 5 times a week.
    2) Steps 3,000 6 times a week.
    3) Drink a gallon (128 fl oz) of water 6 days a week.
    4) log in dairy 6 days a week.
    5) Work on staying positive

    11/13: 285.4 (-4.2) ⬇️ Finally a good loss! 😊 Lowered the amount of daily calorie limit that mfp had given me from 1,520 to 1,300. I found that eating mostly meat and veggies (heavier on the veggies) and little amounts of other foods allows me to start losing more weight. Hopefully, changing my calorie intake and adding walking and exercise workouts will help me continue to lose the excess weight. This is a great way to start this new round! 😃

    Hi Allow me to reintroduce myself. My name is Lauren and I am a chronic yo-yoer. As evidenced by the fact that I have had a MFP account since July 2012 and I still come back to it and this group when I put weight back on. I used to let myself gain 20 pounds before I would get back to weight loss but now I am trying to catch myself at a more seasonable 10 pounds :) In mid October I quit nicotine again for zillionth time, so the last couple weeks of Oct i was eating like mad. On Sunday Nov 1 I recommitted myself to eating healthy and using movement as a nicotine replacement and I have been on a daily yoga challenge ever since. I am also trying to walk/jog every other day. I am still nicotine free! And now my long term goal is to go from couch to marathon!

    Second round for me on this thread. Lost two pounds the first pass and hope to continue the trend. 10 days is perfect because at the end of the round, my eldest returns from California for a Thanksgiving visit and I’d like to show some significant progress going into the holiday. Working toward a Tough turkey trot challenge with my sister and sister-in-law for later in the month, so going to switch up riding to walking/jogging.

    Goals.
    1. 3 x Walk (maybe jog a little) 5k
    2. 3 x Strength training
    3. Log daily food/water intake
    4. Eat at 500 Calorie deficit (<1575 kcals)

    11/13 - 140.2 - Slight increase from the end of last round, but not surprising given my recent drops. Feeling very tired today too, so I cut my morning workout down.

    I feel you with the dog issue! Mine has rolled my ankle many times doing decently well on just a walk only to have a "squirrel" moment and ends up under my feet. A few times I thought I broke her bones landing on her as my ankle rolls. She hasn't learned. If I start running, I can't take her - I'll have to take her on a walk before or after my runs so she doesn't get too angry or enact any revenge as she's known to do.
