I have been contemplating apologizing to you all day. While I regret you thought I was responding to you, I have decided that I think j was perfectly justified in the response directed at someone else and after further clarification I also regret I may not have well enough conveyed that nothing I wrote was directed at anyone other than the initial poster.
When someone responds with an attack at a person instead of the persons thoughts or opinions then I respond in kind. Your responses was not that. His was.
Just as I highly doubted someone else on here would punch me in the face because my opinions differed from hers, I highly doubt you would refer to me as a “misinformed idiot” and suggest I had specific things to attend to. Thus I would never lump you in with the person I was responding to.
Again, I regret there was a disconnect in communication and hope it didn’t sour your evening too much.
Don't know what happened but I still know I'd never ever punch you in the face (or anywhere else lol) 🤗 Good on you for, well, being you [insert an innumerable amount of hug emoji here]1 -

Feel free to tell me if I do do something, I said dodo 😂, that makes you want to punch me in the face or anywhere else. That may be my first indication that I have some serious reflecting to do about my life’s choices.

Unfortunately I don't think as many parents are teaching their children how to act appropriately in public anymore, so these spoiled ill behaved children become entitled ill behaved adults who see no problem with screaming and swearing in a restaurant.9 -

I think I'm more upset/alarmed that they would choose to do that in front of his family. The dude's family has nothing to do with their "beef" and shouldn't have been involved in any way. This applies to any political or company official's family; they are not part of the issue you have with x, y, z, so leave them out of it.

Present company included, there are lots of lovely conservatives just as there are lots of horrible (insert wherever you fall in the political spectrum here). ETA: And vice versa. Or laterally. Or... parallelly?!?!
It really is just a matter of increasing the level of discourse and respect for one another. Alas, these things (along with critical thinking and reading skills) have degraded year over year.
I wanna blame Teletubbies. Either that or the global appetite for MTV as aspirational reality since the 80s 🤷🏿♀️3 -
I started having better conversations with people who disagree with me when I realized that everyone knows something that I don't that could be a valuable addition to my perspective. If not for an accident of circumstance, I could be them and they could be me.8

No, it’s ok. I watched the video and the two women were out of line. I just disagreed because this is absolutely nothing new and has been going on in a much larger scale.

I'm not sure who's to blame for the death of reasonable discourse. It seems like the main beneficiaries of it are the big established political parties and the press.5

I'm loving the changes in my body since going back to the gym. I think I'm at a point were I need new workout leggins because the ones I have are loose on my waist. It kinda sucks because most fitting rooms are closed and I can't try them on. I'm not a buy now, return later kind of person. If I buy something I have to be 100% sure of it. Maybe I'll just go a size smaller on the ones I have now but I wanted to try other patterns and Brands aside from the black ones that I wear. First world problems lol10
