    The 'drops' will be progressively difficult as December moves along. I'm OK with that. In fact, I will probably gain a few lbs.

    I don't deny myself the many food and beverage celebrations that come with the holiday season but the log will be for honesty sakes.

    70 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion... :D...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.

    I'm not even going to set a goal for this round other than to hopefully lose any amount. If Mom gets out of the hospital, I'll be going to stay with my parents for a week or two until we get home health care lined up and Dad gets comfortable with them, so it will be a challenge to get in exercise and/or cook healthy meals for them. They enjoy good ole Southern Comfort Food. I'll be cooking meals for their freezer while I'm there for when I leave, too.

    GIVE ME 10 DAYS CHALLENGE 134

    Round 134 will be spent in Florida. The good it that there are lovely opportunities to get outdoor exercise but the bad is more dietary challenge with restaurants and MIL cooking when we visit her. Goal for this round is to get to 135 or below, which should not be hard given that the past two days I was under 136 (.8 uptick this morning to start off the round :( ) and this goal would support my goal for overall month of December of 2 lb loss from yesterday, Dec 1.

    For my kick it to the curb, my goal for while I am in Florida (this whole round) is to walk/run to Sombrero beach, take a picture of the sun rising, and walk/run back. That appears to be a little over 6.5 miles total. With that milage, it will likely be a lot more walk than run. :P Iโ€™ll figure out my next challenge when I get back home.

    Previous goals: get under 150; get under 145 for my birthday (10/26); get to pre-COVID weight 142.4, get under 140 before thanksgiving, get to 137.6 (weight on 10/2/19), not gain over Thanksgiving.

    Goals for this round:
    - Enjoy the holidays and all the associated treats in moderation. Focus on enjoying the moments, not binging on the sweets.
    - Train to be able to run a 5K without stopping by New Years Day.

    Ready for another round! My goal this time around are to simply be mindful of my food during the holidays. We have plenty of traditions that involve food and I will still enjoy them just like I did Thanksgiving - but having more chocolate and treats in the house is a temptation to overindulge. I want to savor it when I get to eat something delicious and chocolaty rather than just eating a bunch of them mindlessly.

    I am also going to work on improving my 5K time and getting to the point where I can run the whole thing. 2020 has been a rough year - but Iโ€™m determined to end it stronger and fitter than Iโ€™ve been in a long time!

    Hey everyone -- I'd like to join the fun! I seem to have started talking to myself in my profile diary and I'd rather have folks to chat with and get to know!

    Me: Female, 37, 5'9", Colorado - I've been battling weight since I can remember. Highest weight was ~250 but I've been able to get (and stay) under 200 for quite a while but I'm trending upwards and I need to get things on track! I was hanging around 170-175 for about 6 months then it started going up up up this May. 193.6 today.

    Goals
    - Check in daily
    - Stick to my macros - high protein (at least 130g), low carb (10 total max), moderate fat (minimum 30, max 40)
    - Get 8+ hours of sleep per night

    Doing these macros for two weeks (11/30 through 12/13) then will re-evaluate; possibly do a week off of low/moderate fat and bump that up to 30 min/90 max. I use https://mariamindbodyhealth.com/calculator/.
