it's so bizarre how we have teeth when we're kids and then a few years later when we're older we just grow new ones lol
humans are so weird like what even are we
Animals have baby teeth too
I cringe at my kid teeth sometimes - they were rounded edged.
And what about wisdom teeth that a lot of people have to have removed? Or don't have at all? Like have humans evolved to have smaller mouths? Or are people without wisdom teeth more "adapted"?
(note to self - google evolve vs adaption, preferably (next time) before babbling on the internet)
Did cave people need more teeth back in the day due to a lack of oral hygiene and dentistry services? 🤔
Yep. People have smaller skulls and I think they were back up teeth for when you lost some back in the day.2 -

I figure the younger healthier cave people had to pre chew food for the elders or those without teeth3 -
My ex husband designed and built the coolest smoker I’ve ever seen.
Using materials left at the yard from the Drilling Co.
Pulleys, drill bit weights for the lids, it is fantastic.
Got me thinking how he can build pretty much anything.
Some people have that ability, to think linear, mathematically.
I’m a little jealous.
I figure my thought processes are more like curly Q french fries.

@Kashmir_314_ That's heartbreaking. I think that every single time I watch my BIL tolerate people bathing him, changing the pads underneath him......there is zero dignity left and he has no say. I wish there was a way for my BIL to let everybody know what he wants. I can understand both sides. Letting someone go is one of the hardest things to do.
And my heart goes out to you and people like you who have to watch it all unfold.6 -
This is how you do error pages, mfp take note😍

People should have the choice to end their lives peacefully, with dignity, and at their own discretion...without jumping through hoops. The only thing keeping her here is the selfishness of her family. Why?!
I love and admire you for doing what you do - I wish you peace in your heart Lady...I appreciate your kindness and the bravery (of your *kitten* soul) in your day to day job ❤4 -

Isn't that sad!? I worked as a 3rd shift CNA for just a year when I was really young and remember a lady whose family wouldn't even let them put in a permanent feeding tube, and so the nurse had to feed her with a tube through the mouth/ esophagus for years. The family didn't even visit her so I couldn't understand it at all. Takes a strong person to do that work!northviewvintage wrote: »Kashmir_314_ wrote: »I just spent my morning with a 97 year old hospice patient that has been bed ridden, hooked up to a feeding tube and unable to do anything for herself for the last year. Dear MFP. STOP TESTING IN PROD.
Thank you.4 -
That's weird. Usually I'm one of the 1st to have any kind of problems with site glitches or computer issues. It seems to be going ok. So far.0

Okay, I'll add you to the "no pants" list.
Don't worry, if you have to be on a list.... it's a good list.0 -
I'm thinking that Chit-Chat is my 'safe space'.
A few folks on some of the other message boards seem to be wound-up a lil' too tight.
So it goes.....

I'd do much better on this list. No pants pairs really nicely with the fuzzy robe and slippers list I'm also on. 😂3 -

Being on the good list guarantees a stop over from Santa in 2021 then, right? Something to look forward to Kickassamazon. Prepare your Christmas list early and be ready.2 -

My next door neighbor just bought a puppy for Christmas 🎄.
I think it’s a black Labrador.
I want to go over there so badly 🐾
I’ll just wait for the right time .
To bump into them 🐕🦺7
