What are some of your unpopular opinions about food?

Sometimes I feel like my job is going to drive me to drink but...I'm not a drinker. My vice is definitely anything sweet...cookies, cake, candy...just non alcoholic sweets.3

Me too. I only really like alcohol when it doesn't taste like alcohol. There's only been one or two times in my life where I was "driven to drink" but I think it that case making the drink helped me more (as a distraction) than the actual drink.2 -

@RelCanonical @pancakerunner Once we had a client bring us these mini liqueur filled chocolate bottles.
That...was...a...dilemma...and a half!0 -
I don't like peanut butter...5

I don't drink at all but do like Baily's Irish cream and Kailua with Hot chocolate, Chocolate liquors and Run cookies!1

I prefer crab myself0 -
That humans have evolved past needing to eat meat. I am veggie though.3

Yeah, lobster is super overrated.2

I don't like Papa John's pizza's pizza sauce 😩2

I feel the same about lobster. It needs, like, a whole bowl of butter to even taste good, and it's far too much effort to eat for just a little bit of meat. I agree...crab>lobster2

I actually like lobster, but not enough to pay a high price for it.
There's a restaurant that we used to go to that had a weekly lobster tail special. I would get it because it was a good price and they prepared it properly, so it was quite good.
Lobster bisque is good, but lobster mac-and-cheese is just a gimmick and not good at all.
If you find yourself in Maine or Canada's east coast, you kind of should try some there. It's not as expensive, and fresh out of the ocean is a different experience.3 -
Same! I love fresh ground nut butters🙂 we sell all kinds of flavored ones with protein powder, etc. Not my thing- plus the ingredients aren't great. Smuckers crunchy 100 percent natural is awesome too! I do not want oil or sugar added in any form.0 -

also, crazy richards is great!1 -
I love run-of-the-mill store brand peanut butter, smooth or crunchy!!! A big spoonful! Bring it on! (OK, a smaller spoon, ‘cause, calories.)3

I like it (so long as just peanuts and salt) but do generally prefer other nut butters.0 -

Yes, agree that peanut butter is not especially sweet. If one chooses peanut butters with sugar added, than the sugar is sweet (I also don't care for sweetened nut butters, but I don't blame the nuts).2 -
Haha I am the opposite about peanut butter! (Which is why I have to post since it is the unpopular opinion 😂)
I can’t stand natural peanut butter. I prefer the super smooth brands with added sugar that are creamy and sweet. Love jiff and skippy and all flavored ones like pb and co.6 -
I grew up thinking peanut butter (jiff et al.) was awful, and only realized I actually liked it when I tried the peanuts and salt only kind.2

Even the small spoon is still WAY too many calories for my liking. When you place that small spoon on a scale, you start to question life.
...life is not fair and this supports that! That is why I always have a jar of 'PB and Me' on hand.1 -
I just started eating walmarts brand of pb 2 powder I can totally handle those calories!! Yummo 👍0

That’s why I eat almond butter — or one reason.
You grind it fresh yourself in the store, vs reading labels trying to find the peanut butter that’s closest to just peanuts.

Sounds great...except that the calories still exist😥1
