Same! I love fresh ground nut butters🙂 we sell all kinds of flavored ones with protein powder, etc. Not my thing- plus the ingredients aren't great. Smuckers crunchy 100 percent natural is awesome too! I do not want oil or sugar added in any form.
also, crazy richards is great!
YES YES!! I started to put that too0 -

You grind it fresh yourself in the store, vs reading labels trying to find the peanut butter that’s closest to just peanuts.
Couldn't you do that with peanuts too? I often do it with all nuts, but at home, although it's nice to be able to just buy it too.2 -

Sounds great...except that the calories still exist😥
This is the problem, true. (Although I do find nuts in some form tend to fit in okay.)2 -

Every part of the tomato except the fruit is poisonous and tomatoes are in the same plant family Solanaceae which has as it members nightshade and wolfsbane. Many members of this family are indeed poisonous or hallucinogenic or both. That the family also contains many edible members such as potatoes, chili peppers, and eggplants is interesting.
It is also believed that you can summon Werewolves using members of this plant division.
Tomatoes are known in Italian as “pomi d’oro” (golden apple) or the even more evocative French “pomme d’amour” (love apple).
I do love a toasted BLT with Hellman's Mayo.
What I won't eat is any organ meat [including liver] and most fruits, it is horrid stuff the mere thought of eating such a thing makes you want to retch.

If it is satiating, so be it. But I find drinkable calories far from satiating... same with soup1 -

Or *good* craft IPA . . . even a nice sweet-stout ice cream float. Not even gonna say how many calories . . . with the real whipped cream on top, besides . . . but worth every single one 😋🤣

Today, I baked a nice number of Japanese sweet potatoes, and made a lovely warm salad by saute-ing the greens and twice cooking the potato. Came out nice.4 -

TOTALLY AGREE! I have never even really been a big fan of mashed potatoes. I would take baked or roasted ANYDAY.1 -

I guess not so unpopular...I'm team 'baked' (roasted for sure!)too2 -
I cannot stand 'fake' food or diet 'tricks' food. I'd rather fast until I can get food that is actually food (I love basically all food from celery and kale to avocado, scallops, pork (thought I don't eat it for other reasons), doughnuts, kimchi, coffee cheese, you name it. But sugar -free jello and the like can suck it2
-
Also, soup is my ultimate comfort food sadly, my husband strongly disagrees, or we'd probably have it every night, lol.5

and let's not forget scalloped potatoes... and au gratin2

Purple sweet potatoes > regular sweet potatoes
Okinawan, Hawaiian sweet potatoes are the BEST
Bonita yams >>> potatoes

BBQ sauce is terrible on chicken and other meats.
I really don't care for any type of meat with BBQ sauce on it. (I do love BBQ chips and BBQ flavored snacks though)1 -
People that say that they can't eat something because it's vegan or vegetarian and they are meat eaters.
Or people that just can't have a meal that doesn't contain meat in it for them...4 -

I do not eat meat and its a choice. In a sence yes-we theoretically can do what we want- all food consumption is truly a choice.
It also is a shame when p eople who are meat eaters prejudge plant based foods. Oh well thier missing out!0 -

I think that's pretty much what PAPYRUS3 was saying?
I don't eat meat either.
Among things I don't understand are meat-eaters who are unwilling even to *try* a meatless dish or meal, that contains foods they'd otherwise be willing to eat. (At the same time, when I make meatless dishes to share with meat-eating friends, I try to stick with things that the average person is likely to find non-scary, non-weird, because I want to share foods I think they'll enjoy, not banner-wave about alternative food choices. Most of the time, these dishes look like normal vegetable side dishes (maybe with some normal food non-meat protein added), or are similar to regular main dishes, but without meat (like veggie lasagna).)
I don't understand vegetarians who are unwilling to eat the meat-free sides of an omnivore's meal now and then, but instead demand that others provide some obvious protein-heavy non-meat main dish at every social event. I don't understand vegetarians who make a dramatic scene if they find a tiny shred of ham or bacon in their restaurant food (that clearly fell unnoticed and by accident from one food-prep bin of ingredients into another). I don't understand vegetarians who make a major scene if they find meat in a dish they ordered: It's normally possible to ask questions in advance and find out, but busy kitchen crews do make mistakes, and a quiet, polite conversation with the server is normally very effective.
I do resent people who intentionally sneak meat ingredients into non-meat-eaters foods and lie about it, because "it won't hurt them". That's no way to treat others, especially if they've been polite about their preferences.
Not every other non-meat-eater in the world needs to feel the above ways, but it's how I feel about it. My eating choices are my eating choices. I'm responsible for them; other people aren't. In most areas of life, I don't think banner-waving and proselytizing makes converts as effectively as a calmer, factual, explanation or example. 🤷♀️9 -

But there's no single "BBQ sauce." Regionally there are many different ones. I've had BBQ in various places. Some (not all, IMO) sauces or rubs that claim to be BBQ are terrible, however. I don't think that means BBQ is inherently bad.5 -

Yes I think you said everything I feel too0 -
I am the meatiest meat eater, and I can’t imagine Anyone not eating something because it’s vegan or vegetarian. I think, in a very broad general way, vegetarian and vegan eaters prepare veggie dishes the best ways. They seem to be the most creative and have a better sense of what seasonings, ways of preparation are best for which vegetables. Again, just kinda that way.
Like, even though I’m a meat eater, meat cooker, no one’s gonna ask for my recipes, cause I’m just not a great cook. Some vegetarians just aren’t great cooks. And of course I can’t imagine anyone making eggplant taste good, so I’m just probably not gonna try it, no matter who cooked it. But mostly, I’ll definitely eat vegetarian and vegan foods. Rice and beans is one of my favorite main dishes, as are potato soup with cornbread (with an egg if I’m cooking), cheese or mushroom pizza, etc.6 -

Not "triggered", but just confused as to how you are not fond of an entire grocery store's range of products. It's not like they specialize in one type of product. The Trader Joe's branded products all come from different suppliers, so it just seems like a pretty wide brush to say you don't like all of them.
There are products that I like from there, and some I don't, like you could say about any grocery store.5 -

There's nothing magical about it. It's just a grocery store with private-label items from a variety of different suppliers. There's no Trader Joe's factory where they make all their own products.
They do source some unique items, and that's what people tend to like about it. There's a wider selection of gluten-free and vegan items than at most grocery stores. I can also get some regular grocery items there that are cheaper than the equivalent at my regular grocery store (cheese, wine, certain meats, hummus, gluten-free bread, chocolate). Their fresh produce is just "okay".
I shop there regularly because it's 5 minutes from my house. I don't understand people driving HOURS to get to one. It's not worth that effort, in my opinion.
The problem with Trader Joe's is that I think it gets so hyped up that it sets you up for disappointment. If I drove 3 hours to go to a grocery store, it better be the most AZMAZING place on the planet. It's not. It's just a grocery store. I think that people who say they don't like anything from there are expecting it to be something more.6 -
OLIVES black, green, red or what color they come in. They are taste yucky.0

Generally speaking... just think the super unique and trendy products are a bit over-hyped1
