How often do you weigh yourself?

I vary from daily to every other day to weekly, depending on my mood. If I'm feeling particularly bloated (like today) I usually won't weigh myself. Even though I know it's bloat, it's still discouraging.
I do feel, however, that weighing daily or at least every other day keeps me honest. It's those times I stopped weighing more regularly when the weight would start to creep up.1 -
I've not weighed myself since April 2018. Prior to that, during this current weight loss/maintenance journey, I was weighing myself monthly. I've been in maintenance for roughly 6 years now and I'm mainly happy with how I'm managing it. I'm not saying I'll never step on the scales again, but I'm definitely not planning on doing that any time soon.

Daily, as data more data points make sense to me), I focus on my 10-day trend weights. And monthly trends.

Funny, I was just thinking this morning that even if I weighed myself this morning (currently away from home eating cafeteria food), it would have no effect on what I ate today.0

All through 2020 I weighed myself everyday in the morning. Lost 40 lbs between January and September. January 2021 wanted to test the "weigh weekly" theory and 3 weeks in, I've learned that a week is too long and kinda took the joy out of my mornings... So, going back to daily this week and 2 days in, I feel great. Fluctuations used to bother me when I was trying to lose. Now being in maintenance, the fluctuations don't seem to bother me but, still keeps me focused. It is the daily ritual that I miss.8

Daily. I like seeing my fluctuations. Helps me see if I'm actually gaining weight, or if it's just one of my normal ups after say a huge meal, or a big work out, etc.1

I weigh daily. I have a long way to go as far as losing weight, and seeing those numbers go downward in a steady fashion is very helpful motivation-wise. My body is also very sensitive, so it helps me to know if something is throwing my losses off.3

Every day, ALWAYS have! I have a weight range that is acceptable to me, and if I start to trend toward the high end of that range (which is no more than 5 lbs over my "ideal" weight), I know I need to get serious about my diet and keep a food diary until I'm back where I want to be. This method has kept me the same size for more than thirty years!5

I weight myself every morning after toilet. I thelps me to stay on track and I have been able to see what happens if I eat to much sodium or not enough calories. I shoot for 1 lb a week loss and so far I have lost 8 lbs. I amnot sticking to any diet except making healthy choices.1

Daily, not even going to lie, but I'm not as obsessed with the numbers like I once was. As long as I'm in a ball park I'm good.2

I usually weight myself every 2 weeks but I’m trying to stop because it really triggers my ED tendencies when I haven’t lost more.5

Every morning and evening. Although it’s generally frowned upon to weigh more than once a day, it lets me see if I’m having heart and kidney inflammation due to my lupus. I typically drop between three and four pounds between night and morning. The first sign of a flare is usually failing to drop weight during the night because of water retention. Knowing that I’m starting a flare lets me jump on my meds and get ahead of it.
I don’t stress about scale fluctuations unless there’s a trend over time. Usually I know exactly why my weight is up or down - heavy workout, ate Asian food with a lot of soy, not enough sleep, dehydrated after a long run - and it doesn’t bother me.4 -

I weigh daily first thing in the morning. I’m eating more now that I’m maintaining and I need a reality check to make sure I stay within my range. I adjust my calories as needed. It’s all about management now but I still need to be mindful - otherwise I know what will happen.3

I weigh myself daily but I only mark down my "official" weekly weigh in every Tuesday morning. I don't stress about the daily fluctuations but they help me think about whether I'm eating too much sodium (which really kills me, bloating wise).0

I used to weigh myself daily when I lived with a roommate who did that. Now I just weigh once a week. I guess it doesn't harm to weigh consistently every day as long as it doesn't get you too anxious. I'm actually kinda curious about how my weight fluctuates in a week and how it's usually affected by factors besides food and exercise, but now I'm not motivated enough to do that...I hope I will do someday.0

Use to be everyday...one day I'd be up the next day down, etc., etc.,
I stopped because it messed with my head a bit -
So now it's about once per week 'just to see'.

I weigh daily at the same time, after my morning "ritual" but only record Friday morning weigh ins in MFP. It has helped me determine that sodium really makes me retain the water so I adjust my meals and make sure I have a lower sodium intake the day before my recorded weigh in.0

My total weight loss over nearly a 2 year period was 240 pounds.
I weigh in daily as it allows me to catch weight gain before any serious escalation.

Every morning, but I really don't pay attention to any one data point.
Instead, I enter my daily weight into Libra, an app that calculates my trending average. That trending average is what informs my weight management decisions.3 -

Daily. Withings scale. It logs my weight automatically to the cloud. When you look at the graph you can clearly see the overall trend and understand that some daily jumps don't matter.2

Thought I'd pop in... As I find my mind is coming to the topic of the Scale, and when I might attempt to step on it. I have no idea to be honest. I think it's best I give this another 2 and half months... Maybe by then It MIGHT (as in possibly maybe), be able to weigh me. (It would a be gut punch to find it still isn't within capacity, so I want to make sure).7
