    I had a hard time last week with eating over my calorie goals, too. Just remember that you’re in a new week, and each day is a fresh start. We’re here for you to get through the rough times.

    This week's successes: Spent the week visiting with true southern older friends.

    This week's challenges: We enjoyed the visit but everything is either fried in bacon grease, seasoned with bacon grease or smothered in gravy, cream or both. I have so much water retention even my fingers are no longer wrinkled.

    Looking forward to normal again.

    I'm really happy I found this challenge. I've found posting is really keeping me accountable and on track - I plan to weigh in every two weeks. I wish everyone success in their 2021 challenge!

    This week's successes: I completed week three of my nine week exercise program. I avoided an evening of eating convenience food instead of cooking and staying on track.

    This week's successes: Logging, Calorie Intake, Exercising on Switch Fit Band - I pretend the monsters are fat molecules and when I defeat them I picture the fat breaking up and going bye bye -- works for me.

    This week's challenges: The darn scale! It went up, and up some more, came back down and then up again. I known the honeymoon period is over and my body is readjusting.

    This month has been a blessing -- I feel better and stronger, my clothes fit better, I am more active and my attitude has changed from "No way, I can't" to "Maybe I can".
