For the longest time I’d held on to anger at certain ppl - I’m finally starting to let that go though - sometimes i still cling to it but I think I’ve almost got over it - I may even offer those ppl a ride if it was raining outside - well maybe not - but maybe3

I can’t let go of this fantastical made up version of a particular ex. Sometimes I wonder if I’ll be carrying a candle (small flame is the joke) for that embodiment of my mental illness to my deathbed. 🙄 On the plus side, most days I remember it’s something I made up.4

I can’t let go of unrealistic happenings in movies and tv shows like when on twd the bad guys couldn’t land one bullet on Daryl who was on that motorcycle and they had a clear shot with a mini-gun! Really!?2

My hairdryer. I bought it at CVS for cheap and it makes a weird noise and smells like its about to explode but I feel like it still has a few days of life so I'm not giving up on it yet. I also have a handmixer from 14 years ago. It still works so I'm not getting rid of that any time soon. Basically if it still works, imma keep using it no matter how old it is 😅6

Anything that my kids have made or done. Physical keepsakes have helped me through the loss of a child. Do I need that crappy stick figure drawing of the time I almost burned the house down at a birthday party? Probably not. But I'm glad I have it.9

I have friends who stopped talking to me while I was sick. Friends I hung out with often who I thought were my close friends. I have a hard time letting go that they ghosted me while I was sick when I needed them the most. I understand that some people have a hard time dealing with things like that but it really hurt me because I felt alone. I can't let go but I did forgive them. I choose to not surround myself with them anymore but ill still say hi when I see them.11
