Last Week's Successes: I got back on the horse the very next morning after I fell off.
Last Week's Challenges: It was a disappointing week. I struggled with drinking my daily water goal. Although I was under calories, I still gained, which then lead to a night that I caved and allowed myself to eat over my calories.
Next Week's Plan: Pre-plan my dinner calories. Focus on water consumption. Force myself to exercise.3 -

Realized I need to change my check in day to Monday. We do a lot of short road trips and camping M-F. I need a couple of days to flush out the travel toxins.
This week's successes: Lots of water to flush our all the salts. 8.5 mile run yesterday. Diet back on track.
This week's challenges: Camping for the next 3 days.

Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in day out.
A pound a week seems reasonable
I need to quit losing the same pounds over and over. If you are tired of starting over, STOP giving up.

Update as of 1/29:
Starting weight January 1, 2021: 211
Goal weight:150
Current weight: 206.8
Total weight lost: 4.2
This week's successes:
I am still plucking along at a pound a week, and am keeping up with my meat-free two days a week very well. It has not been as difficult as I expected to meet this goal while making meals for my spouse and I.
This week's challenges:
This week was super busy and I really wanted to fall back on junkie snacks to get quick boosts of energy, and did a few times. Also, my vet has encouraged me to put my cat on a diet as well, so now he's in it with me.

Week 5 (Tuesday, Feb. 2nd)
Starting weight: 193lbs
Goal Weight: 141lbs
Current weight: 188.4
Weekly Weight lost: +2lbs
Total weight lost: -4.6lbs
This week’s successes: continued alcohol free into February, have been outside hiking/walking on these gorgeous sunny days, overall, good mood
This week’s challenges: did not reach the goal for one of my community challenges focused on exercise - I completed 17hours/24 hours of exercise in January; also, feeling bummed that I gained 2lbs and trying not to let it bring me down (I didn’t even want to log it, which is why I am logging a day late)8 -
Starting weight (12/24): 257
Goal weight: 197
Current weight: 255.8
Total weight lost: 1.2
This week's successes: Good effort on exercising (weight training and walking/jogging). Feeling strong physically.
This week's challenges: Did not meal prep on Sunday (needed a break) but I'm paying for it now because I'm buying lunches and eating too much. Back up a couple pounds this week. Frustrated but trying to just treat it like a learning experience and not go entirely off the rails because of a small setback.7 -

I feel the same way. First time since jan 1 I over ate on my calories, my stomach hurt for awhile...and I feel pretty bummed about it, I had started the day off so well with exercise etc. But like you, I will treat it like a learning experience, and not go off the rails either.... one day can't ruin everything. xx5 -

This week's successes: Saw my own shadow on my scale. Lost 3.8 pounds and predict 6 more weeks of seeing the needle on my scale move in the right direction
This week's challenges: Lost the easy pounds this year. Now comes the harder pounds to lose. Anticipate slow down in pounds per week but hope to continue the downward trend.

Starting weight: 247.4 lbs (1/1/2021)
Goal weight for 2021: 196
Current weight: 243.1 lbs (2/5/2021)
Total weight lost: 4.3 lbs
This week's successes: I've found ways to modify my planned exercise program around an injured shoulder (see Challenges), so I continue to get some movement in rather than just giving up entirely. I also did manage to see a small loss this week, despite my intake not quite keeping up with the reduction in exercise intensity.
This week's challenges: Managed to inflame my left shoulder somehow - my guess is a combo of Ring Fit Adventure, which involves a lot of arm/shoulder work (the primary input device is basically a Pilates ring, you gotta squeeze/pull it to navigate menus, and even most lower-body-focused exercises involve the arms in some way) and the new exercise regimen, which involves a lot of planking. I'm right-handed, so like, it could be worse, but babying my left arm is hard. I haven't resorted to putting it in a sling yet, because I don't want to worry anyone, but I really might have to because I keep forgetting and then reaching out to the side and hurting myself again.9 -
I am starting this at 185 pounds so my goal weight for the challenge is 135 pounds. I will post weekly my current weight and the weekly goal rate to keep myself on track and motivated.

Last Week's Successes: I was able to increase my water intake by switching to a smaller cup. So silly but it worked! I was using a 24-ounce glass so that I knew I drank all my water if I filled it 4 times. But some days it seemed so daunting looking at all that water at once.
Last Week's Challenges: I did not get all my walks and PT exercises as I had planned. Still putting others before myself.
Next Week's Plan: I will wake up earlier to start having some more "me" time so I will not feel the pressure to take care of everyone else's needs instead of my own.7 -

I am 51 year old 6'0" with a Thyroid issue, that I am on Meds for, and tore my Achilles in May. My weight constantly yoyo's and the up is more than the down. Heaviest I have ever been.
I have been unable to do any cardio and the weight has continued to creep up. I also have a torn Meniscus but can still get around.
Here goes the yoyo effect again. Was on travel this past week, but didn't alter the food intake much, had a few more cocktails than normal, so maybe that is what caused the weight increase, not real sure since I didn't exceed my caloric goal.
