So vacuuming doesn't suck? That's objectively wrong, every time I vacuum, it sucks.

I always assumed that quicksand would be more of a problem than it has thus far.3

I (a German) assumed for the longest time that English "v" and "w" are basically the same letter when it comes to pronunciation. That's because, to me, they sound like minor variations on the same thing. (Minor variations so minor I only notice sometimes if I pay active attention.)
My partner (a native English speaker) insists they aren't. YouTube videos have explained to me how they aren't. - I still have problems hearing the difference, though.
