Endurance cardio - bike preferred pushing hard, can enjoy a run too which needs to be a tad calmer.
Lifting - gotta be in mood, but usually enjoying it by the time it's going.1 -
Jump rope and body weight exercises2

Running, skipping, weights & endurance cardio all of which have a place in boxing0

Weights and kick boxing (HIIT)0

Jump rope as well, then push-ups and dumbell exercises.

Biking and pilates, although I don't have anywhere to go for pilates right now because everywhere is soooooo expensive. I've tried to do some videos but I have trouble motivating myself when I don't have a place to go and feel like I'm expected lol1

I do a combination of step aerobics, aerobics, HIIT, kickboxing, running, and lifting.2

On water rowing, skinny boats like in the Olympics (just that mine is way slower). I do lots of other stuff, but you asked about "favorite". š
Me (62 then , 65 now) in the yellow, then 72-year-old rowing buddy in pink (yup, she's still rowing too . . . and lifting).

I enjoy everything I do (or I wouldn't do it!) but my favourite are intervals on my stationary bike. I don't do true HIIT but it's definitely a workout and I get a good runner's high.1

Weight training, with basic steady state cardio(lots of walking, elliptical, cycling) because it doesn't make me limp around for days after, is easy to fit into my daily life... and is good for my mental health.2

I have a lot of Olypmic level lifting gear, a spin bike and a Crossfit set up at home but all I'm doing now is use my Concept2 rower to row 10k meters a day/5 days a wk for about 1 hr/day, 5 hrs/wk, which is the generally recommended level of exercise for heart health and general fitness for a person my age (70).

The one I can't currently do. I was hoping to go for a run today, but it'll be storming and pouring down all day. I guess no running.0

If going by the rush of endorphins, I can't think of anything that quite matches the feeling after sprint intervals. Unfortunately that also tends to make me the most sore and takes the longest to recover from. Heavy squats are right behind those in my opinion. In general though I would have to say a low intensity steady state cardio run outside on a nice day because it lets me enjoy scenery plus get a bit of that post activity high, and can be done multiple days per week.1

Sounds like a great balance of aerobic & anaerobic training with a sprinkle of S&C in there too, win win š0

Workouts that force me to make guttural noises. Right now that's calisthenics and anything upper body focused2

@desertfoxcoffee both great forms of exercise & stress release!1

Pretty much anything on a bike...road or mountain. Followed closely by hiking, but that requires me to put a good chunk of time aside so I typically really only do it when we're out camping and I don't have any better way to spend 4-6 hours. I dabbled in some rock climbing for awhile and loved it...but gawd it got expensive and I already have an expensive exercise hobby with cycling.
Not really a gym rat at all. I lift a couple days per week because I know it's highly beneficial and I like the aesthetics...but there are really so many other things I'd rather be doing. I actually wouldn't consider much of what I do an actual "workout" per sei...but I'm pretty active.1 -
