I ordered a pair of size 5 jeans, they arrived today and they fit!! One size closer to fitting in a lot of clothes I’ve had patiently waiting for me in the closet 🎉.17

I haven't craved or eaten chocolate for several days, also I used my mini stepper today and felt like giving up after 20 minutes because my inner thighs were aching but I carried on for my usual 30 minute stint. I was tired too so, I'm pretty darn proud of myself! I find motivating myself to exercise easy but the last few months I was finding it difficult to motivate myself to eat healthy, it was a real struggle but I was doing it. It has seemed easier over the last few days, I have got my mojo back!14

Seems kinda dumb but.. I've had issues with my elbows and ever since weight training I'm able to carry things without pain plus... my jeans are loose.20

Well, this is probably more a reflection of bad patterns in the past, but I made a box of mac&cheese which I normally just eat the whole thing. Last night, I made sure I had enough calories left to do so, but instead, I only had 2 (of the 3 servings) and put the rest back. I still felt full. Perhaps I eat past the point I should and I'm learning how to look for that. Logging food definitely helps me! I was very proud of myself for putting some back Today, I had a date to go walking with a friend, but she cancelled. I considered skipping it, but went ahead and did it anyway. Feeling motivated35

Fit into jean's I hadn't worn in over 3 1/2 years! 14" smaller than my starting size! Feeling great, Like progress is really happening. Happy for a moment or two, then off to the gym!26

I hit the 2 million step mark just now... since January 27th27

@azalea4175
Thank you for the support!
I didn’t step on the scale yesterday or today and I feel a bit more calm. Any reduction of stress is going to have a positive effect.12 -
Fitting into jeans easily. That I wasn't able to four months ago.20

Bought some uk size 14 jeans and a dress in New Look yesterday and they fit! Also on week 6 of C25k: never ever ever would I have thought these things were possible last year.
Thank you to everyone on here, you are amazing motivation.20 -
Had to bite the bullet and go down to medium boxers yesterday. Some of my favorite pattern ones that are no longer available are XLs that look like diapers on me now. The Ls will be kept for PJs going forward. Can’t complain to much amazed a little that I’ve made it to this point, but will miss my camel 🐫 patterned XL boxers that were traditionally worn on Wednesday’s 🥲25

Put on a pair of pants this morning that have been extremely uncomfortable but no longer are. Buttoned quite easily22

GET RID OF THEM, AND NEVER LOOK BACK. Keep you eye on the prize of smaller sizes, feeling healthier and looking good.10 -

WOW, Congratulations! How long did it take to accomplish that wonderful feat?3 -
LazyBlondeChef wrote: »Although I've only lost 3lbs in the last six weeks I took measurements today and have lost another 2.5 inches total during that same time. More than half of it was from the waist. I've also been consistent with my exercise routine the last couple of months so it's nice to see that it is making a difference.
If you break it down your "just 3 lbs." equals 12 sticks of butter that you melted off your body. Remember the scale is only a TOOL to use not to give power to. Keep up the good work! Be proud of your efforts no matter how small you think they are. Love the non-scale victories also, don't you.11 -
Had a friend that I haven't seen in a month or more walk right past me. I said Hey, going to ignore me. He said, I honestly didn't recognize you. You've gotten tiny. I don't think I've smiled that big in a long long time.15

My recent NCV i have managed to accomplish a 4 minute plank, working towards 5 minutes, adding 15 seconds every Monday. NEVER did i think i could do 4 minutes.20

Fit into a pair of jeans that have been hiding in a bag under my bed for probably 5 years. Like...fit with ROOM!!!
Also...14 weeks ago I was hobbling around in a knee brace barely able to walk and Monday I squatted 110 pounds!!21 -
When I started seriously logging in 2018 I wore size 16 jeans. Now I'm wearing size 12. They're so loose they only stay up because of my belt, worn tightly. When stores reopen here, I'm shopping for size 10 jeans!17

Last spring, I cleaned out a catch-all room in which I'd stored my old 'skinny clothes.' At the time, everything looked impossibly small and so I'd bagged the clothes for donation. Due to the pandemic, I never got around to donating.
Last week, I went through the bags again and extricated lots of clothes that now fit. I still intend to donate bags of clothing - except now, most of those are far far too large to fit the current me.21 -
I can button up my work vest over my stomach.18

Wife washed my new size 34s Levis.. and she dried them... ... Oh wait they buttoned up without effort and I didn't black out and actually wore a belt to keep them up today23

After a tough workout this morning, I decided to walk to Starbucks (2.5 miles roundtrip). I now have amazingly big blisters on my feet, but I did it without passing out. The last 1/4 mile was more like a hobble, but that's ok24

I ate a piece of pie. ONE piece of pie.34

I have lost almost 50 lbs and have been doing the Sidney Cummings Challenges (on my second month now), I hated doing planks with just a sports bra because I had all this loose skin hanging down from my stomach, while planking. Well, yesterday was plank time again (and it is getting warmer so no T-shirt) and I noticed that there was a lot less loose skin "hanging" down. Yeah for staying consistent.31
-
Did a timed walk/run and set a PR for a 1 mile split - 14:34. 1:06 faster than my previous PR, and nearly 10 minutes faster than when I started walking workouts in November. Also, I tried on a XL t-shirt last night and it almost fit. My belly wasn't hanging out the bottom.30

A1C of 6.1 yesterday. First time it's been that low in several years, and I was 40-50 pounds lighter then, so I'm thrilled that my new routine is giving me the lab results that I need!

An NSV I'm not exceptionally thrilled about: my wedding rings are rapidly becoming too large! I have some plastic sizers to keep them on my finger for now, but I don't think I'll be able to have them resized, just because of the material and design. They weren't expensive and I'd be happy to continue to support the Etsy shop where they originally came from, but I've barely been married 6 months! LMAO
A better NSV: My boobs (in a bra) stick out further than my belly does when I'm standing. So I got that going for me, which is nice.22 -
I can lift 50lb feed bags now and do 10 pushups. Never been able to do either!23
