What Mini Goal is motivating you right now!

My current motivation is my uniform for my new role. Start on the 24th May and it's snug when I'm standing up but it has no stretch in it and feel self conscious in it if I'm sat down. I'm looking forward to slimming right out of it!

I got an Apple Watch a month ago and went back to MFP after over 5 or 6 years (when I got a Fitbit that died on me recently). A knee and ankle injury had me stop running and playing tennis, we are in the third lock down here and that is 10kg that I would like to loose. So first mini goal : walk and log
So I've done that for almost a month, log everything and walk everyday. I've walked from 30min when I had no time or when it was raining to 10k in about 1h50 min (6 times in the last month since I've started to track my fitness activity with the Apple Watch, closing the rings every day). Kinda depressing to see that I am within what MFP recommends for calorie intake, including almost all the additional calories from exercice, and my weight has not changed at all. I'm not sure I want to decrease what I eat as I get quite hungry before meals and on a couple occasions I did feel a bit dizzy..
My current mini-goal is to maintain that, and maybe switch the pure daily walks to some kind of workout at home with YT videos. Fitness centres are not opened yet where I live, they are supposed to reopen on the 9th of June.
Last year, my center was closed for over 6 months to reopen only in September (months not used are added to future yearly memberships).6 -

Did the thing...
This is great, huge congratulations!!! Every fitness goal I have now is centered around running and living longer. I remember when I could not run 1/3 of a mile. I went from that to running my first race, which was the Austin Marathon. Your confidence will grow when you reach your goal and you'll probably do more than you ever imagined you ever could. Funny how life happens sometimes, what a blessing.4 -
My next mini goal is to run my 20 miles training plan on Saturday better than I ran the last one. Worst thing about the last one was my attitude but at least this time I know how miserable it will probably be and I can smile through it like it's the best day of my life. It works, that positive attitude thing even when I'm wobbling the last few miles or so (I hope not, but...).9

My next mini goal is to lose 7% (15lbs) of my current weight. I'm down 10 pounds and plan to reach my goal the end of June.11

My mini goal is to get out of the "obese" category into the "overweight" category. I have 5.1 lbs to go.18

I finally reached my mini goal of being under 155 pounds. Next stop: 150. I think I can do it a lot quicker than the last five pounds! That took a few months.19

Weighed in at 247 lbs this Friday. Next goal, enter the 230s by March 7th.
Done, boom! Now, I am setting my eyes on the 220s by April 16th.
224 lbs as of today. Next goal - 210s by 14th of May
Made it into the 210s! Next goal, 200s by end of June 🕺🕺14 -
Baby steps... to eat at or under my calorie goal today. I've failed miserably the last 2 days. 😩15

I am at 141 pounds. I really want to see the 130's. Hoping for the scale to read 139 soon!16

I also love reaching weight milestones, I am close to the 140s and anxious to see that 4 on the scale soon, by the end of May I am hoping15

My mini goal is to just make it through the weekend within my calorie goals. After a back injury and two year hiatus, I lost most of the progress I made. I’ve done well so far and really want this to stick.13

I'm a few pounds away from leaving obese territory so that is my next mini goal. I've decided that eating healthier and getting fit is my new hobby and I'm enjoying the journey.
It took me a few weeks longer than I had hoped but I did get there this week - I'm officially not obese! Yay! My next (semi) mini goal is to get to the 50 lbs lost mark. It will likely take me through the summer but I'm determined to make it!18 -

I'm sorry you are feeling discouraged. Keep it up and you'll get there! Along with others, I've found that MFP overestimates the calories I burn while exercising. If I want to lose weight, I can't eat back my exercise calories. I've also found that feeling hungry at first is part of the process while I reset my internal hunger meter. After several months of tracking diligently and eating my calorie goal, I've found my body more reliably tells me when I NEED to eat versus when I WANT to eat.
I wish you the best of luck on your journey!10 -

This is an amazing goal!! I remember reaching this and it feels incredible. I am so excited for you! After being overweight, I successfully moved in to the "minimally overweight " category....to be honest, I am still in shock. Now, my goal is to get into the "normal " category. Baby steps and perseverance will get you there!! Keep your eye on your goal and when you reach it, take a break.....and look up the road to the next category. Don't think about the time it takes....just keep going! I am 11 pounds away.13 -
below 220. i was 223.2 this morning.
the other one is less belly wobble when walking decently fast or going up/down stairs. it's rather disconcerting to feel it move around like that. SO less big soft squishy belly.8 -
I weigh 145.7 as of this morning (well the past 3 mornings) and since my period just started that's likely accurate. I'm also 7lbs from 50lbs down. Next goal is probably both 140 and 50lbs down in rapid succession (lol). Then stop and assess a little. Suspect my goal weight is going to be 135ish.
Completely, completely confused to be here and continually torn on what I want to do. I'm not NOT content with my weight now, but I'd like a little more space between my weight and being back in the overweight BMI. I'm also just kind of confused to be here, tbh.8
