It was cool here this morning, but at least we didn't have frost @Tramboman ! Nice run.
Just WOW @AlphaHowls !
That hike sounds hard, but really beautiful @katharmonic !
I'm so glad your ankle is doing so well @skippygirlsmom ! You did great!
Congrats to all that met their goal for the month. For those that didn't, you did great getting out there and doing what you could. Next month is out there to be conquered.
Due to being sick, I didn't make my goal. I did manage to walk 31 miles and run 30.90 miles. Considering there was an entire week I didn't run at all, I'm happy with that. I also played tennis or did yard work for 14:21:26 hh:mm:ss.

Congrats @skippygirlsmom that is really impressive!1

@katharmonic - that view and hiking along the Ridgeline looks so awesome. We were in the White Mountains many years ago (maybe 30!) in the fall when the leaves were all brilliant colors! Absolutely gorgeous and the people we met were wonderful.
@pfeiferlindsey - you can't disappoint a daughter no matter how old they are! 😊
So much great running happened this month! So good to see so many hit their goals, come close to their goal or just get out and get as much running in as life allowed!
I didn't make my goal but came closer than I expected and my highest mileage month so far this year and my hamstring seems to be improving! That's a win as far as I am concerned. Run today was good but next month I HAVE to be getting out earlier, especially if I want to continue running with Hobbes the Vizsla. He just can't take much heat any longer.
I also need to be running a bit further for my 'long' runs. Even though I am supposed to be keeping them short(er) I signed up for a HM in September (this will be #28 and my last...) and while I plan to walk at least some of it, no PR planned I do need to be better prepared than I am now.
See you all in June!

I made my modified goal which is to not give up and keep running. Life is kicking my *kitten* though. My mom is needing 24/7 care. The new thing is we got a lady to stay with my mom overnight so we could get some sleep, and the lady had a heart attack on the third night! She’s going to be fine but we are back to no help, and my mom was severely panicked by an ambulance outside in the middle of the night when she had no idea what was going on. Geez what are the odds.13

@rheddmobile I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope things will start looking up for you soon.1
-
Oh NO @rheddmobile ! That's horrible. I'm glad the lady is going to be okay, but you need a good break here soon. I hope you get it.0
-
OMG @rheddmobile that is crazy! I hope you can find some other consistently reliable help and that your mom can settle into a routine!0

Biggest hugs @rheddmobile0

@rheddmobile I'm so sorry to hear this. All the hugs and thoughts sent to you. I wish we could all take a shift and help out to give you a break.2

@rheddmobile sorry for what you are going through. Hugs
6.2 miles to start off June. It has been raining since Friday, so quite surprised it wasn't raining this morning, so was able to run outside. It was better than the treadmill, but still felt like a slog.

I had a goal of the first 8 miles in under 2 hours, it was 1:58, I figured I’d be toast by then so before I started I said I’d be good with 4 hours figuring I’d walk the last 5. I actually finished in 3:22. I ran anywhere from 1/3 of a mile each mile to the whole mile. I was so excited. Ankle felt good the whole time. I’m just tired.
Amazing comeback!2 -

I’m so sorry. Sending love and strength @rheddmobile x0 -
I think my goal was 60 miles for May and I managed 70.5 so I’m happy. Better weather has me feeling happier and healthier too, and walking instead of driving the school run and commute has made a big difference. I’m continuing to alternate running and circuit/strength days, so not looking to massively increase mileage right now. Want to keep things challenging but manageable with my various life/work/kids commitments.
Have missed you all and sending lots of love. See you all in June x5 -
Glad to see you are doing so well @Faebert! Great running and workouts.0
