06/21 …..199.0 ….. Happy tears here. Onederland! Truthfully, I won’t feel confident in Onederland until I am at 197 point anything (because gaining 2 pounds overnight is very easy for me). Grateful, thankful and staying mindful again today. I am not going to drop this ball!
06/22 …..198.8 ….. I am still on cloud 9 today. Thanks everyone for dancing with me yesterday. I kept the eating clean and the movement/activity steady. I rewarded myself with a couple of good classic rock songs to dance to.
06/23 …..197.4 ….. Although not planned, it ended up being a meatless day. I cut the IF short by 2 hours (14/10) and had spaghetti squash for dinner. Some dairy, very light grains. 50% more steps than the last few days and another 2 songs to dance to. I think it was quilting jaine that mentioned popcorn for fiber that she’s used in the past. I bought a box of 100 calorie popcorn and had my first one last night. Yummy and crunchy. I have now hit the short-term goal of 197 point anything which makes me feel firmly planted in Onederland. Dinner will be out tomorrow with my son but I will hang on for dear life to keep the scale in Onderland on the 25th.
06/24 …..197.8 ….. I don’t know how I could eat 1000 calories less than I burned and gain 0.4 lbs but I did. I don’t think I am retaining fluid right now based on yesterday’s meals either. In any case, I ended up eating 3 meals (including breaking my fast and having breakfast) because I was going to the hair dressers for a 3 hour appointment and am always worried about glucose drops when away from home. I kept it just under 1700 calories so I will call yesterday one of my higher calorie days to keep my metabolism in check. Not happy there will be 2 in a row including today when my son & I go on our planned outing. Now I must keep it more reasonable than originally planned, but it will be SO worth it. I want to keep things rolling while I am strong!
06/25 …..198.6 ….. Not too bad after 2 days of higher calorie and carb. Today I will be at home and my diet will be back on track. I consider these past two days to be metabolism re-sets. I plan on trying to get in more water and activity today too although we are expecting thunderstorms all day. I’ll work out in spurts inside. Burn baby burn!
06/26 …..198.6 ….. I’m surprised it didn’t budge downward as yesterday was filled with extra activity and calories stayed below 1350. No TMI is probably the reason. What a difference that makes! I am attending an outdoor wedding this afternoon in heavy rain and thunderstorms. We have a flood warning going on today. This should be interesting! Hopefully the scale won’t be too bad tomorrow.
06/27 …..199.0 ….. The immediate social engagements are over but I am scheduled to be traveling a very long day tomorrow (meals out). So today is a compensation day stuck right between the wedding yesterday and the travel tomorrow. I’ve got to make it count. I will fast 16/8. Drink extra water. Get as much movement in as I can (expecting another 12 hours of rain and thunderstorms). A well-planned day should help keep me in line.
06/28 …..197.6 ….. I had to cancel trip today. I was so sick yesterday evening and all night. A little better today but not 100% Possible gall bladder or diverticulitis attack, probably from too many almonds day before yesterday. Horrid pain. This is a big overnight drop on the scale. Probably from such little eating yesterday (it hurt too bad) and from dehydration. We’ll see what the next few days bring as this is probably a little lower than my weight realistically is.
06/29 …..197.6 ….. Scale was the same today. Still not feeling well I did manage to eat about 900 calories but my movement was only that of me breathing on the couch laying down. I mean, I only got in 2049 steps for the day and it takes that many just to get to the bathroom a few times! Pathetic. I’m hoping I will feel better today. I appreciate all the well-wishes.

6/21 159.2 Yesterday was rough. guests at our house. Stress for me is still waay too high re: my Dad. determined to get a better handle on things... taking most of this morning off work (hope that I don't lose my job...) since woke up feeling sick with headache & bad allergy issues. Meds have been taking affect & have been working on resolving issues re: my Dad. So stressed that I was shaking. Would help if knew how to handl a couple things.... then would be easire. Oh well... working on it.
6/22 DNW very bad day, again. The stress has been terrible for both my husband & I. We moved him to a different rehab today. I hope we got him out in time so that we don’t have to put him in the hospital, again. One of his wounds is almost to the bone where he has a contracture (his hand). He’s almost out of Medicare days for hospitalization.

Noticed in cameras when they wheeled him back to his room in wheelchair from where he had been watching TV in a living area, the mask he had on was over his eyes. Can you imagine what that must have been like for him?! Ghah! There was another problem while I was there, but it was resolved. Nice people, but like the other rehab, the nurses seem overwhelmed & like they don’t have enough time. Too many patients. My sons wife may have baby a few weeks early. Exciting!

Only could sleep a few hours last night, but I know things will settle down.
Our son is coming over in an hour, squeezing another in another hour with us before they head to airport. He’s a sweetheart. I am reminding myself to focus on all we are grateful for: health, great relationships, and lots of love. My stitching helps, too!
My Plan:
Next habit: after tracking exactly, will be to cut calories down 100 every 1/2 week day until I’m in the right ballpark.
I’ll keep the arm exercises & art going daily. They are habits now.
I’m going to give my ankle one more day — actually, I’m going to walk today. I’ll wrap it & wear my hiking boots to hold it steady, ice it when home. Im
I have an entrenched 10K walking commitment, so I’ll get at least 4,400 in (which is what research says makes the most difference) & hopefully more.

6/21--215.6 Yesterday was warm out, so other than going to my trainer I didn't do much else. Yesterday was a high calorie/high carb day, so I won't be surprised if there is a tick up in the scale tomorrow. Back to regular calories/carbs today. Plan is to go out and take dog for walks while it's still cool outside.
6/22--215.3 Took dog out to the trails yesterday evening. It was warm and humid in the forest and instead of a 1mile walk, it ended up being a 3 mile walk. The ice cream bar I ate when I came back home was so good.
6/23--216.2 There is the uptick in the scale that I was expecting yesterday. Today is going to be a little cooler, so my plan is to go out for a long walk today.
6/24--216.2 Holding steady. Did not go out for a walk yesterday, by the time I went to sleep last night I realized that I had rarely been outside yesterday, work has been crazy. Today I am going to make sure that I go outside and get active.

6/26--214.5 It's going to be hot today. A friend and I are going on a road trip to the coast. I am bringing my puppy and this will be the first time she's seen any body of water, can't wait to see how she reacts.
6/27--215.1 Definitely enjoyed myself at the beach yesterday and definitely went over my calories, so not surprised about the uptick in weight. Trainer day today.
6/28--215.3 Last day of the major heat wave today, but it will still be hot over the next couple of days. I am so not motivated to cook anything in this heat, but I have to make sure that I just don't eat any and everything.
6/29--216.0 Carb overload. It was so hot here yesterday, and no air conditioning, that I did not want to cook anything and ended up just grabbing what was easy to eat. It's a little cooler today, so I'm back at it.

JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS ~ Round 154 (round 86 for me ) I continue to prove time after time that I need this to help me keep on track! Thank you @QuiltingJaine for setting up the new challenge.
Challenge for this round is again to work back towards maintanence – any loss will be a win! A full 10 days before our next week away in the caravan, want to make it count ! A healthy life style has to be a permanent way of life.
Keep calm – we're all in this together! Wash hands, be kind, continue to follow all latest Government guidelines in roadmap to normality for C-19 virus. Be positive for thefuture – I've had both of my vaccines.Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, It's took me 75 rounds to achieve my under 130 target; back to maintenance again!! 6/21 134.4 – 8.48 miles walked yesterday, a really good food day which reflects in the number on the scales, a good start to the round. UK was supposed to have all covid restrictions lifted today, but due to increased spread of Delta variant it has been delayed by 4 weeks, as long as we don't go backwards!
6/22 135.2 – not such a good day yesterday, DDIL taken ill and I dropped everything to drive up to take care of 2 year old DGD; we had a whale of a time at their local city farm & playground & had lunch out, but no structured walking & again scale reflects! (DDIL fine now).
6/23 137.2 ughh needless to say I had a BAD day yesterday, but did walk 11.7 miles, I need to be consistant!
6/24 135.2 – 10.52 miles walked yesterday & as scale shows a good food day, need to keep consistant today!
6/25 135.2 – no structured walking yesterday as caring for 2 little DGC hence 30 calories over, but a reasonable day of choices.
6/26 134.2 – 9.86 miles walked yesterday, good food day staying within calories.
6/27 135 - drove out to Church Stretton and was up on the Long Mynd for a lovely 11.59 mile walk = see the photo's, but they do not do the views justice!!
6/28 133.6 – well how things can change in 24 hours! I was contacted to say I had been in contact with someone who had tested positive for covid, I took a test feeling perfectly fine and I'm positive too !! So both myself and DH have to self isolate until 8th July, we were supposed to go on holiday for a week 2nd, that's now cancelled! And as the day passed I started to develop cold symptoms. Beacause I knew early in the day I couldn't walk, I replanned; we normally have a 3 course Sunday lunch (within calories) and then a light evening meal, I did main course for lunch and then starter & desert for our evening meal and I'm very happy with number on the scale. Within calories. When I start to feel better I will do jogging on the spot in my garage, but at the moment don't feel up to it.
6/29 133.6 – Feeling a bit brighter today, would love to go for a walk and get some fresh air, but on day 3 of self isolation so will have to make do with my small garden! Going to do some light gardening – just dead heading so I will be outside; going to be stir crazy by the end of 10 days!! Really feel for the folk who had to sheild at home for months on end. Being very careful with food choices, keeping well within calories for no exercise, i.e. 1340, and the scale shows it is working!! Also have to start really thinking about what I choose for our meals (DH having to self isolate also) as will not be able to get out to shop until 8th July. Luckily I had done a full shop on Friday, have stocks in the freezer & cupboard, but it's fresh fruit, veg & milk that we will run out of as we consume loads of the former 2! I have DS that lives 20 minute walk away that has offered to pick up anything we need, but she doesn't drive so don't want to put on her too much!
6/30 132.2 – well pleased with the overall loss this round; 3.2 pounds from end of last round, just hope it's not my muscle mass i'm losing while I not able to get out walking!! Hoping that I'll not be out of action that long for this to happen (fingers crossed!). Good food choices, stayed within calorie limits.
