    @musicsax I eat no grain (this week has been grain loaded) my fruits are extremely limited because of the carbs. Occasional berries and generally one nectarine per season (LOL) fortunately, I don’t like bananas and they don’t like me. My old WW leader said “no one ever got fat from eating bananas” and I believed him. But pineapple and watermelon resulted in my regaining 30 pounds. Eat fruit, insulin spike, insulin crash, eat more fruit, repeat. No one ever suggested I was eating too much - at that time the were promoted as free fruits. I’m much more a carnivore so even my vegetables are limited. I love asparagus, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, and spinach. Even those have carbs so I weigh portions. I could easily eat way too many carbs with them - and I have. I used to roast a tray of broccoli and cauliflower and snack on the whole thing while my husband was at cards! He eats none of those vegetables, his only veg love is CORN!
