I'm Michelle, 50. I started the year at 185, started the april challenge at 170, and am currently 164. My goal is 10,000 steps a day, swimming 3 times a week and to lose 2-3 pounds a month, so 6-9 pounds for the new challenge!

I'm in! I've never done a challenge on mfp, but I'm looking forward to it! I am setting my goal to lose 20 lbs in 3 months. I weigh in on Wednesdays, so I'll just keep doing that.
Do I post every week with my weight? Or post a master list and update it every week so it's all in one place?7 -
I am in , I want to reduce 25lbs by October. My starting weight is 152lbs.4

Please count me in. This will be my first challenge. I like your backward design model @RubyRed427. 🙏5

I'm hoping to lose 28 lbs by October 31
Starting weight 184

I love the reverse goal idea ! Starting here at 150 & & want to end up at 135 . I’m going to try that calendar idea when I get back home . I just made a coffee run from the beach house & was inspired by so many people out at 7am . It was super inspiring . I’m going to put in my contacts & get out there for 10,000 steps today !7

August 1. Starting weight 164.6
Goal weight 150
I LOVE the reverse goals ideas as well. I have mini challenges as I have big events between now and Oct 31. Beach trip, 2 weddings and 2 reunions before the end of this challenge. So I think I am going to set my expectations in a reasonable (for me) way. Example; we go to the beach on August 21 in 3 weeks. I would like to lose 4-6 lbs by then. Keeping them off and not gaining will be my only goal while there which is not easy with all the delicious beach treats calling my name.
Best of luck to all of us! Thanks RubyRed for keeping this going!8 -

You can post anytime you want. Most people do post once a week. It helps keep you accountable with yourself. There is no list that I keep. It's a simple challenge- post and participate. Share what works. Share what doesn't.4 -
Looking forward to cracking on with this weight loss challenge!
I am going to weigh in on Fridays as usual.
My goals ~
# Focus on water intake
# No coffee
# Start working out again & going to gym
# No alcohol
# Allow myself to indulge with food on my brothers 21st birthday at nice restaurant
# Join Rebecca Weller The Sparkle Project to really get a grip on my nutrition
I will weigh myself on Friday, see how much I weigh, and decide on my goal from there.
Good luck everyone 👍👌😊
I joined the Sparkle project too. I have it- I'll have to review it again. No alcohol is a great goal too. My goal as well!5 -

I'm really looking forward to the journey with you all. I get really lazy and depressed during the winter months so developing healthy habits over the next 3 months will help me now and it will be easier to continue that during the winter months. I'm an active 70 y/o, 5' 4", and feel pretty healthy overall--except for the extra weight. I plan to do a formal exercise program 6 days a week (like treadmill and resistance training to start) while focusing on nutrition & hydration. Nutrition is challenging because my calorie requirements are low at my age. Good luck everyone! Fingers crossed!

Hello! 33F, starting using MFP again at the end of May after not the best lab results, I want to improve my health and be able to start hiking again without worrying if I can make it a few miles. Like most, my weight has been up and down over years but this time I feel like I am in it for the long haul, I'm learning how to cook healthy foods and making healthy habits.
May 28th 2021 Weight- 240lbs (also my highest weight)
Ultimate goal weight- 170lbs (I’ll reassess once there but that feels more like a doable goal right now)
Challenge starting weight- 220.4lbs
Challenge end goal- 205lbs
Sunday will be my weigh in day
08/01- 220.4lbs9
