I posted my full success story last week about my journey titled "50 by 50" Birthday Challenge in another thread. You can read about it here: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10843872/50-by-50-birthday-challenge#latest

Thank you for posting these pictures. Over the last 12 years, I’ve lost 230 pounds as of today (my pictures are a page back), and everyone keeps telling me I don’t look “fat” anymore. But I’m having trouble believing it. However, after I have my skin removal surgery in December, I should weigh about 185-190 pounds (my abdominal skin weighs about 20-25 pounds) and *you* only weigh 185 pounds, and I think that *you* look totally normal. So now, I’m a little more inclined to believe them, since I’m only actually losing another 11 pounds before I have surgery and magically lose up to 25 more pounds! Maybe I will be straight on to maintenance after my surgery after all! Yippee 🥳!!!

Nice! That's inspiration for me.7 -
I’ve a long way to go until my ultimate goal of a healthy BMI. I started at 342lbs a month ago and still going strong.

Losing your double chin is a Non Scale Victory that is in the top of the clouds! It made me so happy the first time I noticed it on me. Congratulations! Your hard work is paying off! 🥳🥳🥳

Thank you 🙏. It made me teared up. Prolly amplified from the sangria I just enjoyed this afternoon. But no no I truly appreciate the acknowledgment…. I went for 7 mile jog on Wednesday so I know I’m at least trying to keep things going for the next 30-40 years.10 -

Love your eyes. I bet when you have a few drinks your eyes 👀 are wide open 🤣. Old friend who we always tell her that we know when she’s had a few drinks because she looks wide eyed…5 -

Not a before. Not an after. Both progress pics. First one I was probably down 40lbs already. Currently I have probably 20lbs to lose. 2 years apart….both on concert day!

You all look INCREDIBLE! I'm *only* about to page 165 on this thread over the course of a few weeks, but I love clicking through a few pages when I'm not feeling so great about my own progress. Especially when you're starting out and not seeing results, seeing other people's success is SO inspirational!
I especially love seeing the ones with the same outfit, starting out stretched/tight/barely fitting, then just hanging in the after pics! And it's so helpful when people post age/height/starting weights too, as that helps me believe I can do it, too
Thanks to all for helping me on my journey!22 -
wow, well done indeed!1
