I may revise my goal and not try to get back to that weight I was maintaining for a couple years, but I secretly want to get back there.
@mtaratoot What changes did you make to turn your weight around?! Congratulations!
I think one thing is that I started bike commuting again. It's either 30 or 60 minutes per day. I don't log it per se. I also have stopped treating myself to a bag of chips as often. I've been working in the garden. I've been paddling more. After my geriatric cat died, I've had more time to be active in general. I stopped baking bread. I've been eating from the garden a lot although I did buy some really good Hermiston cantaloupe and watermelon. Those are SO good.
Thanks @mtaratoot !!
I’m SO happy for you!
And I’m sorry about your cat. Our geriatric cat died in Feb, which has also given us more time.

I am not out of the woods yet. Had a big bounce three days ago that will eventually go back away, probably after another day or two, but.... just a little annoying.1 -

I'm really struggling this month. Not too many days left this month to meet a goal of any loss. However, anything would be great!2

I am SUPPOSED TO BE in maintenance with a goal weight of 143 pounds and an allowable goal range of 140-150 pounds and an IDEAL goal range of 142 - 148. I fluctuate wildly day-to-day, and try to stay fairly steady month-to-month. I often succeed, and sometimes I am not exactly where I want to be. I will update here once per week and report my ten-day average weight.
September 30, 2020: Ten-day average 144.1 - I was in the middle of my goal ranges, bout my IDEAL range and my absolute goal range. This was before what I call "The Big Oops" that started in October.
June 30: Ten-day average 155.6 - About a pound heavier than today.
July 31: Ten-day average 154.8 - About a half pound heavier than today.
August 31: Ten-day average 153.8 - About a half pound less than today.
September 30: Ten-day average 154.3 - About a dozen pounds over my old goal, about six pounds over the top my IDEAL goal range and about four pounds over the top of my absolute goal range. So technically not maintaining. And "technically" changing my goal for a while because I'm still at a healthy weight even though it's more than I want to weigh, and taking a break might help me mentally.
I weigh more than a month ago, and I weigh less than two months ago and three months ago. I am heavier than a year ago, and I have been "maintaining" about the same weight since January with some ups and downs.

September 1st 2021 – 185.8 I don’t actually believe this weight this morning. It represents a 4 pound drop since yesterday and a 6.8 pound drop since the day before yesterday. Scale is reliable and I checked it 3 times so it may be a fluctuation of hormones in my body. I will check it Sunday and adjust the Sept 1st weight then.
October 1st 2021 – 187.0 Binge last night didn’t help. It totally ruined my weigh-in.

How is everyone doing? My July & August were really good. My September....mmmmm notsomuch! So far, in October I am losing the same 3 pounds over & over. It is mainly due to travel. I've got to do a better job of choosing wisely and getting in a bit more movement even when I'm on the road. It's all possible if I apply myself.
Lots of month left, plenty of time to push past the walls & barriers that are holding me back!1 -
