Maintaining! My Average monthly weights have been no higher than 160 since 9/1/18 or 3 YEARS!!
I’ve been looking forward to this 3 year mark!
    And here I am❣️

    7/4/21. CW: 159.06 Trend 159.1. (BMI=23.9)💕5’8.5”
    7/20/21CW: 159.06 Trend: 159.3
    8/7/21. CW: 158.2 Trend: 157.9!!
    8/31/21 CW: 159.28 Trend: 159.8

That trend weight is too high. I like to keep my average yearly weight in 156’s, and Tim’s 156.9 right now. Time to take action!

So, on 8/29/21 I Decreased my calorie limit. I’m 1/2” shorter than I thought! 🤣😂 Basically, I’m going into “mild weight loss mode” until my Trend weight is consistently below 157.5.

I am still reading, but I haven't posted in a while. My last post was early December.

I did have a good August though. I think I might be turning things around after a less-than-ideal year.

I am SUPPOSED TO BE in maintenance with a goal weight of 143 pounds and an allowable goal range of 140-150 pounds and an IDEAL goal range of 142 - 148. I fluctuate wildly day-to-day, and try to stay fairly steady month-to-month. I often succeed, and sometimes I am not exactly where I want to be. I will update here once per week and report my ten-day average weight.

August 31, 2020: Ten-day average 145.5 - I was in the middle of my goal ranges, bout my IDEAL range and my absolute goal range. This was before what I call "The Big Oops" that started in October.

May 31: Ten-day average 154.3 - About a half pound heavier than today.

June 30: Ten-day average 155.6 - About two pounds heavier than today.

    July 31: Ten-day average 154.8 - A pound heavier than today.

August 31: Ten-day average 153.8 - About ten pounds over goal, about six pounds over the top my IDEAL goal range and about four pounds over the top of my absolute goal range. So technically not maintaining.

I weigh less than a month ago, two months ago, and three months ago. I am heavier than a year ago, and I have been "maintaining" about the same weight since January with some ups and downs.

My name is Donna. I am 61. I am about 5’5” tall. I live in the Midwest USA.
    Highest Weight: 253

Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!
    250’s; 240’s; 230’s; 220's; 210's; 200's; 190's; 180’s; 170's; 160's; 150’s

    January 1st 2020 - 189.2
    February 1st 2020 - 191.6
    March 1st 2020 - 199.8
    April 1st 2020 - 203.2
    May 1st 2020 - 207.7
    June 1st 2020 - 206.8
    July 1st 2020 - 207.9
    August 1st 2020 - 209.4
    September 1st 2020 - 211.6
    October 1st 2020 - 211.1
    November 1st 2020 - 207.4
    December 1st 2020 - 207.6

    January 1st 2021 - 207.8
February 1st 2021 – 207.6 Does a 0.2 loss count LOL? Okay so January was a rollercoaster ride. I weight exactly what I did on December first so I am grateful that I did not balloon up any further due to all the Christmas holidays.
March 1st 2021 – 206.6 Yay. A full pound down. This inspires me to do even better.
April 1st 2021 – 207.6 Back up a pound. Gotta rein this in!
May 1st 2021 - 206.6 Better but still a bit disappointed. One pound in a month is just not good enough for me. I know I can do better.
    June 1st 2021 - 205.4 One pound a month is s…l…o…w but it’s still progress. Stubborn Fat!
July 1st 2021 - 197.6 I worked hard in June. More on diet than exercise.
August 1st 2021 – 191.4 A new low for me and a whoosh overnight. Let’s hope this sticks. July has been good to me.
September 1st 2021 – 182.8 I don’t actually believe this weight this morning. It represents a 4 pound drop since yesterday and a 6.8 pound drop since the day before yesterday. Scale is reliable and I checked it 3 times so it may be a fluctuation of hormones in my body. I will check it Sunday and adjust the Sept 1st weight then.

If anyone is trying to send me a friend request, please tell me how I may know you, which challenge etc. Otherwise, I do delete all friend requests to help keep the creeps away LOL. Thanks for understanding.

Unfortunately when someone adds a comment to a friend request, it will not be delivered. The admins turned that off to keep the creeps from sending us creepy comments. There's an unfortunate side effect. For the most part, I am just saying no to ALL friend requests; many sure look suspicious lately.

Just a little check in to say that my weight trend has finally come down to a weight that is the lowest it has been this entire calendar year. I still have a few pounds to go to get back to where I was last September when what I call "The Big Oops" happened.
    jelxm6jh6rhi.png

I may revise my goal and not try to get back to that weight I was maintaining for a couple years, but I secretly want to get back there.

I think one thing is that I started bike commuting again. It's either 30 or 60 minutes per day. I don't log it per se. I also have stopped treating myself to a bag of chips as often. I've been working in the garden. I've been paddling more. After my geriatric cat died, I've had more time to be active in general. I stopped baking bread. I've been eating from the garden a lot although I did buy some really good Hermiston cantaloupe and watermelon. Those are SO good.
