Weigh less than a month ago challenge

I was planning to wait until the end of the month to post, but since you asked:
Very slow progress, but it's progress, right? Note that I, at least temporarily, revised my goal weight up a few pounds, and the bottom of the "green zone" in that chart is near the top of my previous goal range so... yeah. Really slow.
@mtaratoot
Thanks! I’m in the same boat. Slow for me, too, but it IS progress. I remind myself that I put the few pounds ON very gradually so it’s ok if I take them off slowly.
My trend wt is now back down to what it was Sept 25, and back in my maintenance range (“in the 150’s”) just @ 159.9. Ha!
Vastly relieved as it was bouncing into 162-163’s…

Wow! Look at that pattern! Started smaller in Jan 2020 and worked my way up bigger during the entire Covid waves. Then I started going from bigger to smaller again. Now, (Jan 1st 2022) I am trying to go bigger again. I think NOT! This month I will (at the VERY LEAST) GET BELOW 188.7 to get back on the weight-loss train. Watch me Go!1 -

Lack of movement due to weather outside and extreme and constant renovations inside with work crews certainly contributed too. The renovations are not about to end soon, but I’ve got to get past losing my brother and using food to console me!

I am actually back down to my weight from around November 2020 which was after the first big spike of my COVID gains.
I plan to continue this trend in May.1 -

Things I’m Doing to achieve this & stop
the ping-ponging around:
Set a lower daily calorie goal to a number I know will gradually take off lbs.
Always having prepped cut veggies & lettuce for Instant Salads.
Checking my real time calorie deficit (as I used to) to guide me to my
Next meal.
Ignore muscle soreness & fatigue & walk at least 7K steps daily. Use music again & podcasts again but not with earbuds…
Try to figure out the insomnia

I did a little backsliding in May.
The good news is I am only up 0.4 pounds for the month, and the other good news is I'm still in my absolute maintenance range.
There's more good news. Looking back farther, I've been fairly consistently losing weight since February. This is a long, slow recovery from the gain I started having in September 2020.
The final good news is I'm still sticking to it and plan to get deeper in to my maintenance range in June.

June was not a good month.
Wait. That's not right. June was an AWESOME month. It's just not been that good with respect to weight management. The first two or three weeks were especially difficult, but there's a reason. It's not an excuse, it's a reason. I am going through a major life transition. June first was the first day of my new reality, and it's much less stressful. I did my share of celebrating for sure. More than my share perhaps. So June was a great month.
Now I guess it's time to recommit to maintaining the good habits I have developed over the last four years or so and to add more good habits and routines as I settle in to the present and the future.
How about more good news: my mass is down from a year ago even though it did go up a bit mid-year. That's how maintenance is supposed to work; up and down, up and down. I'm currently at a mass that's just a bit above the maintenance range, so there's still work to do. Always will be. I hope I have fun with it. You too!

Not the best month. Not the worst.
Clearly I gained.
Clearly I've been on a roller coaster for the year.

Mostly held steady this month with a slight decline.
Last three months look like a roller coaster ride:
Kind of looks like maintenance to me. I should be OK with that; my goal may be lower than it should be, but I'm still aiming for it.1 -
Not a good month. I'm up four pounds. I'm "only" up 3.2 pounds for the quarter.
