I am SUPPOSED TO BE in maintenance with a goal weight of 143 pounds and an allowable goal range of 140-150 pounds and an IDEAL goal range of 142 - 148. I fluctuate wildly day-to-day, and try to stay fairly steady month-to-month. I often succeed, and sometimes I am not exactly where I want to be. I will update here once per week and report my ten-day average weight.
July 18, 2019: Ten-day average 147.5 - Near the top of my IDEAL goal range and in pretty close to the top of my absolute goal range. I had a short little weight gain last summer that I was able to stop pretty quickly.
April 18: Ten-day average 148.8 - Near the top of my IDEAL goal range; in the top 10% of my absolute goal range.
May 18: Ten-day average 149.3 - Way over the top of my IDEAL goal range; almost busting over the top of my absolute goal range. I got up to an average of 149.8 I was pretty much at or near this max weight all of May.
June 18: Ten-day average 147.3 - Near the top of IDEAL goal range and top 25% of absolute goal range. But less than a month before.
July 18: Ten-day average 147.0 - Really close to the top third of IDEAL goal range and top 30% of absolute goal range. My weight is creeping up again, so... I must stop that. But I am still LESS THAN A MONTH AGO, so yay. What's also yay? I weigh less than two months ago and three months ago. Not only that, I am a half pound less than a year ago.

@mtaratoot Right!!!?!! Me too! I keep reminding myself that my BMI, bp, resting HR, blood glucose, etc are all Great & I can hike in hills 2-3 hrs easily. And I keep thinking of the posts in here where the poster weighed 5-10 lbs more & looked trimmer. I force myself to say “it’s not all about the number on the scale”
AND I will not go over BMI 24.9, which is 166.5lbs for me.
Currently, my BMI is 23.65 @ 157.8-158.2 lbs.
I work to stay in 157’s.
You’re doing great. Glad we’re able to support & help each other as we figure this out.

For the second week in a row, my weight is still LESS THAN A MONTH AGO, so yay. What's also yay? I weigh less than two months ago and three months ago for the second week in a row. Woo hoo! And, funny thing -- I am EXACTLY the same average weight as one year ago.

I am SUPPOSED TO BE in maintenance with a goal weight of 143 pounds and an allowable goal range of 140-150 pounds and an IDEAL goal range of 142 - 148. I fluctuate wildly day-to-day, and try to stay fairly steady month-to-month. I often succeed, and sometimes I am not exactly where I want to be. I will update here once per week and report my ten-day average weight.
August 8, 2019: I was diving in the California Channel Islands, so no scale. I was feasting, and I was diving, and I was climbing up and down from deck to deck. I weighed when I returned on August 10: Ten-day average 144.4 - Right near the middle of both my IDEAL and my absolute goal range.
May 8: Ten-day average 149.6 - More than a pound over the top of my IDEAL goal range; in the top 7% of my absolute goal range. I got up to an average of 149.8 I was pretty much at or near this max weight all of May.
June 8: Ten-day average 148.4 - Over the top of IDEAL goal range and top 10% of absolute goal range. But less than a month before.
July 8: Ten-day average 146.6 - In the top third of IDEAL goal range and getting closer to the middle (top 40%) of absolute goal range.
August 8: Ten-day average 144.8 - Down just under half a pound for the week. Still right near the middle of both my IDEAL and my absolute goal range. For the FOURTH week in a row, my weight is still LESS THAN A MONTH AGO, less that two month ago and less than three months ago, so yay! I am within 0.4 pound of my average weight one year ago.

I am trying to convince myself to be happy about being near the TOP of my maintenance range, and dip me in chocolate and roll me in ants - it's working.
I am SUPPOSED TO BE in maintenance with a goal weight of 143 pounds and an allowable goal range of 140-150 pounds and an IDEAL goal range of 142 - 148. I fluctuate wildly day-to-day, and try to stay fairly steady month-to-month. I often succeed, and sometimes I am not exactly where I want to be. I will update here once per week and report my ten-day average weight.
July 18, 2019: Ten-day average 147.5 - Near the top of my IDEAL goal range and in pretty close to the top of my absolute goal range. I had a short little weight gain last summer that I was able to stop pretty quickly.
April 18: Ten-day average 148.8 - Near the top of my IDEAL goal range; in the top 10% of my absolute goal range.
May 18: Ten-day average 149.3 - Way over the top of my IDEAL goal range; almost busting over the top of my absolute goal range. I got up to an average of 149.8 I was pretty much at or near this max weight all of May.
June 18: Ten-day average 147.3 - Near the top of IDEAL goal range and top 25% of absolute goal range. But less than a month before.
July 18: Ten-day average 147.0 - Really close to the top third of IDEAL goal range and top 30% of absolute goal range. My weight is creeping up again, so... I must stop that. But I am still LESS THAN A MONTH AGO, so yay. What's also yay? I weigh less than two months ago and three months ago. Not only that, I am a half pound less than a year ago.

@mtaratoot Right!!!?!! Me too! I keep reminding myself that my BMI, bp, resting HR, blood glucose, etc are all Great & I can hike in hills 2-3 hrs easily. And I keep thinking of the posts in here where the poster weighed 5-10 lbs more & looked trimmer. I force myself to say “it’s not all about the number on the scale”
AND I will not go over BMI 24.9, which is 166.5lbs for me.
Currently, my BMI is 23.65 @ 157.8-158.2 lbs.
I work to stay in 157’s.
You’re doing great. Glad we’re able to support & help each other as we figure this out.

May 25: Ten-day average 148.7 - Almost a pound over the top of my IDEAL goal range; almost in the top 10% of my absolute goal range. I got up to an average of 149.8 I was pretty much at or near this max weight all of May.
June 25: Ten-day average 146.6 - Near the top of IDEAL goal range and top third of absolute goal range. But less than a month before.
July 25: Ten-day average 145.8 - Down over a pound for the week. Still in the top third of IDEAL goal range and getting closer to the middle (top 40%) of absolute goal range. For the second week in a row, my weight is still LESS THAN A MONTH AGO, so yay. What's also yay? I weigh less than two months ago and three months ago for the second week in a row. Woo hoo! And, funny thing -- I am EXACTLY the same average weight as one year ago.

Yay 151 day streak in maintenance range!
I am SUPPOSED TO BE in maintenance with a goal weight of 143 pounds and an allowable goal range of 140-150 pounds and an IDEAL goal range of 142 - 148. I fluctuate wildly day-to-day, and try to stay fairly steady month-to-month. I often succeed, and sometimes I am not exactly where I want to be. I will update here once per week and report my ten-day average weight.
August 1, 2019: Ten-day average 145.1 - Right near the middle of both my IDEAL and my absolute goal range.
May 1: Ten-day average 149.3 - More than a pound over the top of my IDEAL goal range; in the top 7% of my absolute goal range. I got up to an average of 149.8 I was pretty much at or near this max weight all of May.
June 1: Ten-day average 149.0 - Over the top of IDEAL goal range and top 10% of absolute goal range. But less than a month before.
July 1: Ten-day average 146.4 - In the top third of IDEAL goal range and getting closer to the middle (top 40%) of absolute goal range.
August 1: Ten-day average 145.2 - Down just over half a pound for the week. Right near the middle of both my IDEAL and my absolute goal range. For the THIRD week in a row, my weight is still LESS THAN A MONTH AGO, less that two month ago and less than three months ago, so yay! I am within 0.1 pound of my average weight one year ago.

August 8, 2019: I was diving in the California Channel Islands, so no scale. I was feasting, and I was diving, and I was climbing up and down from deck to deck. I weighed when I returned on August 10: Ten-day average 144.4 - Right near the middle of both my IDEAL and my absolute goal range.
