    New to mfp is it to late to join this group? I have over a hundred pounds to lose so a group like this sounds like it could be very helpful.

    Hi guys. Not been posting as much as I should. Getting my treadmill sometime this week. Down 2 inches on my belly too so far :) and overall down 12.8lbs in 11 weeks.

    How's everyone doing?

    Did 3 miles tonight in under an hour. Haven't moved that fast in a while, worked up a good sweet felling ready for the next one.

    My weight was up and down all of may. Sorry i havent been posting. I guess i. Just a little frustrated with my weight right now.

    Hey yall!! Id love to jump into this group and add some friends! I just had my 3rd child a month ago, so in about a week ill be cleared for exercising again! Im the heaviest I have ever been right now. 233lb and im 5'3". A couple years ago I was 140-150, and my lowest weight was 130 back in 2014. I was lookin at my photos and damn!! I was lookin so good and had so much confidence! I want to get back to my old habits and commitment. I worked out 5-7 days a week with beachbody and ate really minfully and clean. My goal is to be 150lb by next summer! Its going to take a lot of commitment and work but I'm done with not feeling good!

    Start new journey, because last year i had a problems so i gained my weight back. :s:'(

    Start on January 2021 : 282 lbs

    February ending : 271 lbs
    March ending : 266 lbs
    April ending : 264 lbs
    May ending : 262 lbs
    June 13 : 257 lbs


    Goal : 135 lbs

    I did that from about January to May, and then suddenly my body got with the program again and I lost, so have faith.

    Maybe it's me but think we need to keep two items to get started....
    Our masks to wear between meals and the floor mat that says keep 6'apart.....from the frig.

    This is going to be an 80pd weight loss challenge from January 1st to December 31st. It doesn't matter what day you weigh in, but we would love to hear from you on that day to hear your good/bad news. I would love to have a group that inspires each other, Laud knows we will all have bad days and we can all use somebody to keep us on track and cheer us up. I would like this a group to be free to vent when we are frustrated and not be judged for it.

    I weigh in on Tuesday, I did that back in 2005 and lost 140pds. I will be starting my pre-diet test tomorrow to get the bugs out before Jan. 1st. Learn what I need, what I don't need, etc.

    Whose with me this week to do a prep for the best I can be?

    ok, first day starting out, pre-trial. Didn't go too bad. I kept as busy as possible. One thing I've decided...my Dunkin Donuts coffee is not being taken from me, not gonna happen. I think the exercising will come next week.

    I would love to be a friend. I hate dieting alone so this morning I put my dog on a diet with me. He needs to lose about 10pds.

    First suggestion, and it's only a suggestion. when you feel hungry, drink a glass of water. you may be surprised how your body mimics hunger when in fact it's thirsty. Wait 30min and if you still feel you need something, have fruit or veggies in the house. If your brain says, "that's not what I want." your not hungry. Find something to keep yourself busy.

    Roz, Weird_Island and JEB, how are you doing this week? JEB, you and I have our first weigh in tomorrow. I hope your week was an awesome one. I was doing great till this past weekend ( yesterday I bombed ), BUT.... I gotta long way to go and I am NOT giving up. I just want to focus on my 5% right now. That is my first goal.

    hey @ladycopnh1 I'm doing well. I've dropped 6.2lbs in my first week and a half back. just tracking calories, eating within my calories, drinking lots of water and walking a little bit. I've also dropped an inch in a month from my waist 😊
    that's a great goal to focus on!
