I was craving a fast food cheeseburger so made a cheeseburger salad instead. Hit the spot!

    This looks great!

I've been making BLT salads lately, using fried Speck instead of bacon ( it's much leaner and a little spicy ) and crunchy thin crackers for the bread, a little mayo, lettuce, and chopped tomato.

Oh great idea!! I haven’t had Speck in awhile but it would be great in place of bacon in a salad. Thanks for the suggestion! 🤗

oh these look great! i wish i'd taken a pic of my dinner...spaghetti squash; tomato sauce with 3 meatballs; and sautéed spinach in garlic. Oh...added 250 ml of red wine...happy to see wine was only 200 calories for full cup! I'll take pic next time. Love seeing ...

Ramen with smoked pork jowl and mushrooms. I used Lotus Foods millet & brown rice ramen. This was a little different than how I usually make the broth as I had white miso so used that instead of the normal red miso. The pork jowl was pretty fatty so I trimmed quite a bit of the fat off of it. This had a more earthy flavor than it usually does. My partner added chili paste to his as he likes heat. His bowl was much more attractive color-wise.
