I am in remission for breast cancer, have Type 2 Diabetes, an under active thyroid, a touch of high blood pressure, some osteoporosis and am working to get healthier. I know losing weight and exercising more will help all of these issues.
CHALLENGE TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS GOAL: Total Loss of 15 pounds to land at 176.5 (Wow! That sounds like a dream. But…dreams do come true!)

I TRY TO WEIGH ON THE 1ST AND LAST DAY OF EACH MONTH ALSO. I HAVE MADE THE GOAL OF LOSING A LITTLE MORE IN SEPT AND OCT AND KEEPING IT A LITTLE LESS THROUGH THE NOV AND DEC HOLIDAYS (AND BAKING SEASON.) I THINK THAT 15 POUNDS OVERALL IS A MORE REALISTIC GOAL FOR ME ESPECIALLY SINCE I LIVE IN A VERY SNOWY AND ICY AREA AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES AND EXERCISE ARE DIFFICULT AFTER OCTOBER 1ST. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT I GET AND STAY AT A HEALTHY WEIGHT DUE TO HEALTH REASONS I WILL SHARE ALONG THE WAY. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! I AM ROOTING FOR YOU AND SUPPORTING YOU ALL 100% WE CAN DO THIS!

Jan 01….. 190.0….. (Trend Weight: 191.5)….. . On December 31, 2020 my weight was at 207.0. I am down 15.4 pounds this year and for that I am grateful. I plan on working even harder in 2022. Happy New Year everyone!
Jan 06….. 194.0….. (Trend Weight: 191.8)….. I am spiraling out of control very quickly and I’m quite sure it is not water weight. I have been trapped in my livingroom for 8 days with a full floor (except livingroom) flooring reno on main floor. No exercise or movement. No stove or fridge etc. Just grabbing food and choosing as best I can but mainly no calorie burn. I’ve got to turn this ship around! Flooring specialists will be back today. I am hoping that a good portion will finally be completed!
Jan 13….. 192.8….. (Trend Weight: 192.3)….. Better than last week but I’m rocking back and forth in the same 1.5 pounds so that tells me that I need more changes and they need to stick. Watching these stack of numbers also helps see the trends. I am grateful for this challenge.
Jan 20….. 192.6….. (Trend Weight: 193.0)….. Up & Down all week but ending with a smidgen of a loss on actual weight and a substantial increase in my trend weight. The Universe has a lack of faith in my it seems. I’ll prove it wrong!

** I’ve let myself down this week. 0.4lb loss makes sense with weekly deficit I had. I drank 2 bottles of wine mid week due to work stress and then ate stuff I wouldn’t have without the wine 😔 I’m just going to try and stay positive though, to move on and recommit to doing better this week. No wine mid week. Walking back and forth to work each day and doing my weights routine (3 x a week). Watch this space for better result next week 😊 Good luck everyone. My name is Donna. I am 61 years old, 5' 5" tall. I live in the Midwest of USA. I am in remission for breast cancer, have Type 2 Diabetes, an under active thyroid, a touch of high blood pressure, some osteoporosis and am working to get healthier. I know losing weight and exercising more will help all of these issues.
CHALLENGE TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS GOAL: Total Loss of 15 pounds to land at 176.5 (Wow! That sounds like a dream. But…dreams do come true!)

I TRY TO WEIGH ON THE 1ST AND LAST DAY OF EACH MONTH ALSO. I HAVE MADE THE GOAL OF LOSING A LITTLE MORE IN SEPT AND OCT AND KEEPING IT A LITTLE LESS THROUGH THE NOV AND DEC HOLIDAYS (AND BAKING SEASON.) I THINK THAT 15 POUNDS OVERALL IS A MORE REALISTIC GOAL FOR ME ESPECIALLY SINCE I LIVE IN A VERY SNOWY AND ICY AREA AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES AND EXERCISE ARE DIFFICULT AFTER OCTOBER 1ST. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT I GET AND STAY AT A HEALTHY WEIGHT DUE TO HEALTH REASONS I WILL SHARE ALONG THE WAY. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! I AM ROOTING FOR YOU AND SUPPORTING YOU ALL 100% WE CAN DO THIS!

Jan 01….. 190.0….. (Trend Weight: 191.5)….. . On December 31, 2020 my weight was at 207.0. I am down 15.4 pounds this year and for that I am grateful. I plan on working even harder in 2022. Happy New Year everyone!
Jan 06….. 194.0….. (Trend Weight: 191.8)….. I am spiraling out of control very quickly and I’m quite sure it is not water weight. I have been trapped in my livingroom for 8 days with a full floor (except livingroom) flooring reno on main floor. No exercise or movement. No stove or fridge etc. Just grabbing food and choosing as best I can but mainly no calorie burn. I’ve got to turn this ship around! Flooring specialists will be back today. I am hoping that a good portion will finally be completed!
Jan 13….. 192.8….. (Trend Weight: 192.3)….. Better than last week but I’m rocking back and forth in the same 1.5 pounds so that tells me that I need more changes and they need to stick. Watching these stack of numbers also helps see the trends. I am grateful for this challenge.
Jan 20….. 192.6….. (Trend Weight: 193.0)….. Up & Down all week but ending with a smidgen of a loss on actual weight and a substantial increase in my trend weight. The Universe has a lack of faith in my it seems. I’ll prove it wrong!

Feb 10….. 196.0…..(Trend Weight: 195.2)….. Pizza last night created a surge on the scale this morning. I’ve actually been doing much better this week. The pizza party is over and the work begins again. No biggie. I can handle it!
Feb 17….. 196.0…..(Trend Weight: 195.7)….. I have been gaining and losing the same 1 ½ pounds all week. Very annoying because I’m not always sure why. I haven’t been perfect for sure, but I have increased movement. Diet good, snacks meh….so that’s probably the answer.
Feb 24….. 198.0…..(Trend Weight: 196.0)….. My well pump went out last Thursday and was out until yesterday evening. It was horrid! I think this is cortisol gain. I didn’t eat that much! Could be from some restaurant food (carefully chose though!) along the way due to the lack of water and the difficulty in kitchen clean-up!
