It's a Matt Wilpers 30 minute Power Zone Endurance class that was recorded on Jan 12, 2022.
Riding at 5:30 p.m. Mountain Standard Time.

Off to do today's ride over my lunch hour so I'll be back with a stats update later today!
That's 7:30 for me, but I'm gonna try to make it! Thanks for the invite! I've never done a Power Zone ride. Leaderboard name: NikkiM982 -

Looking forward to the ride tonight!2

It has been a minute since I have logged, but going over my calendar for the month made me proud!

I have moved my space around so I really like just getting on my bike for a ride short or long, I've been doing some of the presets so I don't necessarily get the miles I would like but I have been seeing movement on the scale!!!!!

Well lesson 1. Don’t do a 30 minute steady state ride before meeting @ashleycarole86 and @SavageMrsMoose for a power zone ride. Lesson 2. Take the test before doing power zone so you know what your zones are. I went to hard too soon and died. Lesson 3. These women are bad *kitten* and I’m out of shape.
Thanks for the ride ladies!4 -
Scenic ride Iceland followed by 30 min Power Zone & a quick cool down.

It was great fun @pridesabtch .. so glad you joined even though you didn't have your zones on your screen.. I always figured estimating would be hard, but glad you didn't let that stop you!! It's nice seeing friendly faces on the same ride! Your turn to pick what we do next time

Great to see @ashleycarole86 and @pridesabtch ! I agree- must have been difficult without the power bar. I find these endurance rides challenging enough- not sure how I would handle a “regular” power zone.
My next 3 weeks will be the peak of my marathon training with mid-week 9 or 10 mile hill runs in addition to my weekend long runs so not sure that I’ll get in more than a couple rides a week but will try to join when I can!

I’m so impressed by everyone’s totals! Some of you are 1/3 to the challenge and it’s still February!!! If at the end of June 2022 miles looks unrealistic for me, I’ll bike 2022 kilometers instead. I know I can reach that goal!3

@ashleycarole86 The Livestrong challenge is across the month of March, so it starts March 1st. I'll be doing my 150 mile ride on March 2nd because March 1st I have tons of business to take care of at the base nearby and won't have time!
Right now, I'm about to go do my Rapha Rising ride (Alpe du Zwift, a pixel-by-pixel recreation of the Alpe du Huez, is VICIOUS and that's today's ride. I am regretting doing a 1/2 marathon run yesterday more than I thought I would). At least that'll give me some milage for this week! (and stage 2 of Rapha Rising tomorrow, and stage 3 of Rapha rising on Saturday - gonna be short distances with ridiculous elevation changes. Wish me luck!)3 -
UGH. Not my most stellar climb up that thing. I've gotten multiple sub-60s before on the AdZ, and this one was in the 70s. Still not terrible for a day after a 1/2 marathon!
My knee is questioning my sanity, though, and my legs are jelly noodles. Tomorrow's stage is going to be terrifying. It's La Reine. Otherwise known as the Queen's Stage portion of the Mt. Ventoux. Save me from myself. 😅

As my Peloton instructor said on the bike tonight... "the only bad workout is the one you didn't do"
Man my legs felt GASSED tonight - but onwards I pushed! And of course I feel like a million bucks now (especially after my hot shower)
Time to collapse into bed! Goodnight riding friends

Y'all amaze me with your mileage and dedication. I miss the me that was like that. Slowly I'm finding her again. Just gotta put the pride aside and realize I'm back at square 2, and I'm not going to be competitive for a while.
Skipping the bike tonight in exchange for date night with the hubby. Hitting it hard tomorrow with a trainer session on the roadie. Kind of irritates me to ride it cause I'm fat and out of shape so it isn't as comfortable as it used to be. Up side is I can lose weight and the bike will be my bestie again soon.1 -

Forgive my ignorance- but what is a Zwift ? A type of indoor cycle or a trainer that you use your outdoor bike on? And I second @Bill70sStrong ! You are killing it!!!2 -
I wish I had something inspirational to say, but instead I shall simply drool all over myself because Mt. Ventoux is /hard/. Rapha Rising stage 3 is tomorrow! Huzzah!

Woo hoo! Finished the Rapha Rising stage 3 climb today! Nice way to finish, going up Zwift's Epic KOM. That's always a fun climb.
Now it's time to soak in a bath lol - tomorrow'll be a 1.5 hour effort on the Volcano Circuit CCW route to see if CCW or CW is faster.
