Anyone interested in a nice little challenge?
Super simple - ride 2022 miles (or more) in 2022! Whether virtual or out on a real bicycle, on road, mountain or recumbents (or even e-bike), as long as it has pedals it qualifies!
Links to Strava or another fitness app encouraged to keep each other motivated and show what we're up to.
Kicking off on January 1st, 2022.

I was on the Peloton bike for 2 quick rides - 12.67 miles.
Year to date - 12.67
Do you run? I also had a 60 minute trail run.2 -
I'd run if my knees weren't shot and my hip wasn't demolished! However, my goal is to work my way back into it (I used to regularly do half marathons before injury took my joints). I'm going to start at least walking in Zwift this coming week.

Missed the bike today - decided to try that whole 'running' (so actually, a swift walking) thing in Zwift. I'll probably ride Wednesday just because my knees are yelling at me for being a dummy.
That and Tuesdays are my weightlifting days.

Cold outside, so we stayed indoors all day. Got two rides in - one before dinner, and one after. The rest of the day was spent doing chores and playing with the kiddo.
Thank goodness for Zwift on these chilly days! Now if only the kid weren't intimidated by the distances I rides and would accompany me! LOL
Added bonus: Emily Herfoss (professional rider for Roxslot Liv SRAM) was riding Zwift at the same time I was, and I managed to catch up to her during her recovery lap and have a great conversation before she left me in the dust and took off for a climb.
So cool!
