March 2022 Planking and Isometric Exercise Challenge

Hello!

This is the place for your planking and isometric challenges.

If you are new to posting on this thread, or if you are new to planking and isometric exercises, we welcome you! If you are returning from a previous thread, we welcome you, too.

There are no set challenges - this is a mixed-ability / mixed-experience / everyone welcome group.

Just pick the target that you would like to achieve this month and post updates throughout the month as you work toward your target.

If you are new to planking it is a good idea to start with as little as 10 or 15 seconds and build up over time.

    Sorry guys been very out of it
    2 family deaths and 2 weeks of Covid really took me out
    I wanna try for march

    Goals :
    finish the 30 day plank challenge
    Isometric gonna follow the same plank challenge but gonna do wall squats
    Will start today

    Mar 1: 5 (5) + 50 WS
    Mar 2: 6 (6) + 60 WS

    Total: 11 (11) + 110 WS

    Ouch that wall squat was super hard have been having lots of fatigue after Covid crazy

    @jeffrey_ad, thanks for keeping this going, I’m going for 80 minutes again.
    I've had a 3 day break from planks, time to get down to it again.

    I was out too (@murdog3t, so sorry for your losses 🤗), but would like to be back at it.🤞

    After months of over 120 mins, I'm starting realistic, bc of the workout series that I'm doing, which is quite demanding. So

    Goals for March
    75 mins of planks
    50 mins of leg holds

    03/01: roughly 3:00 planks during Epic Endgame (Finisher: 100 shoulder taps!)
    03/02: none
    03/03: 5:00 planks + 4:00 wall sit

    Total:
    Planks: 8:00
    Leg holds: 4:00

    03/04: I was going to do 10 mins with Heather Robertson, but I only did 1 round of this youtu.be/jCzf5g3hkCs
    and then 3:00 of wall sit. It all felt so hard, I lost the momentum, it seems...
    03/05: none, travelling
    03/06: 5:00 planks, own choreography :-)

    Planks: 18:00
    Leg holds: 7:00
