@sbortnick I'm so tired! π I swear sometimes I feel like I live in the kitchen. I need to rotate the meals so I'm not spending an hour to two hours cooking dinner 5 nights in a row. It's a work in progress. π€·ββοΈ1

It's Friyay!!
Soo glad I didn't let yesterday spoil my good run, in the past it was always that point that I gave up and decided it wasn't worth it (and that's how you end up 130kg!!!). Super happy with today's weight and tomorrow morning will be a whole week of commitment to losing weight!!

Happy Friday!
I'm looking forward to sleeping in this weekend and not being under as much stress next week (fingers crossed).
Tag party!
@hap2go that's it!
@ladychr0nic If you haven't already (I might've missed it), get a weight averaging app, like Libra on android or Happy Scale on apple products. It's easier to take daily weighing in stride when you know your trend is still good. @seltzer_lover beat me to this advice I see. Great minds.
@RealTamaraB showing up is half the battle. I hope things get less stressful/hectic for you.

@_manny_702 oof, two hours a night? Yikes! If you want quick weeknight recipe recommendations, lmk.
@DeterminedKins so happy to hear this.
And for me! Friday weigh in day! Yesterday I only got 5.8k steps instead of 7k, so holding myself accountable for not getting the full 7. But I did every other day.

π Log every food in grams.β

π More than 100g protein every dayβ
Just for this week: π

I'm not concerned about this. I'm below my trendline, I know what I have taken in (to the gram wherever possible), so this is just, as @goal06082021 would say "mercury in Gatorade," lol.
Tonight is pizza wraps again, because that ended up being a good recipe last week. I'll lift weights this afternoon, so I can get my protein in beforehand. Lifting first thing in the morning isn't doing anything good for my performance, turns out.
Have a great Friday, everyone!

Thank you all for your support! This group is amazing. I was feeling really low yesterday and you all made me feel better. I weighed in this morning and I'm down a little bit so I feel better. I downloaded happy scale @CupcakeCrusoe and @seltzer_lover so I will set that up today, thanks for the tip ladies!

A day late on my check in but we finally got moved into the new house. It was a complete mess of a transaction and super stressful but we are here and unpacking boxes! This morning I took the dog for our first walk in the new hood and it was a completely different experience. We moved from a suburb type neighborhood with lots of houses close together with miles and miles of flat sidewalks and walking trails to the country with about a 1.3 mile safe, hilly, gravel private road. Enjoyed the hills beautiful scenery and got to see ponies, sheep, wild turkeys and deer this morning. Now to unpack more boxes!9 -

Sooo... I can't help myself, I did a thing.

First of all, I have to say... @CupcakeCrusoe I LOVE THAT PIC!!! lols!! I will repost it for fun and good times:
Wow, I just laughed so freakin hard!! Also, loved your graphic when trying to do something after you workout.. I used to call it the workout mind melt. One time, I had lifted weights and decided to talk to a random lady and we had such a nice conversation. Then I realized when I got home I literally could remember none of it.. in a Charlie Brown's teacher sort of way. I decided not to do anything important after workouts because evidently working out mah muscles makes mah brain all freeky. Also, I did maintenance in January. But, I went back to it in February. So while I am a little sick and tired of counting calories and deficits and what not... Evidently not tired enough to go to maintenance for more. I haven't really decided where I will end up on the scale, but I just made it to overweight BMI recently and I just caught up to the hubby's totally normal for his size weight and I feel like I can get it done. It is just since (I am full on ranting now wah wah big baby) my weight was so high and it took me so long to get this far (pretend I said more here because I was thinking it). I have chosen to keep in deficit for now, and I have permission to go to maintenance at any time.
Well ladies, I will have to catch up with some other posts later as I only realized today, that I forgot to book mark March!! So I am all behind because I thought no one was posting anything. Fasting also makes mah brain all freeky apparently. Ladies we can do this, make this a March to remember. A March where you will say, "Oh that March was MADNESS!!"

Hi all. I've hit my highest weight again, and higher than before... seriously need to get back on it. Starting fresh from today. I can't mess up again!! I have a doctors call back Monday to discuss starting Orlistat again. in 2012 I lost 50lbs with Orlistat and I'm hoping I have that chance again!9

Got to love the weekend!!
Had a very, very tasty meal last night which was fine calorie wise but probably high in salt (tasty!). Stuck today which is either completely random or proof that the food was indeed salty! Still, nearly 6lbs down this week ππππ

Good morning and happy WEEKEND!
I lost my whole dang comment because I accidentally right clicked, and I had mouse gestures enabled, so it went back. That junk got disabled so fast. Oh well. Baby got me up too early, still sipping my coffee, this is what I get, lol.
I have a hankering for ihop, so I'm going to make myself a big breakfast with kodiak cakes and without as much butter as they would use, it should hit that spot. Otherwise I'll do something silly, like eat a whole pan of brownies about it instead. And I'm going to take a nice long walk when the sun gets all the way up.
Tag party!
@ladychr0nic
@sandielewis2001 your new place sounds idyllic. Congratulations!
@DanaRenee518 progress!
@justanotherloser007 I love the "permission to go into maintenance" mindset. Some people like to practice maintenance by slowly upping calories, or doing a "test run" for a couple weeks. Also thanks, I had that graphic in my head all day before I finally did it.
@roz0810 you can do it. Logging food helps, activity helps, community helps, and yeah, medication does help, but not in isolation, of course. You've got this.
@DeterminedKins way to go! And yeah, I weigh every day, but sometimes after a salty day, I skip, because I absolutely don't have to see that.

Every week things are crazier at work. Iβm now doing my job and parts of 3 other peopleβs jobs. And taking work home on the weekends. The good news is I had over 10,000 steps per day Monday thru Friday which is good for me. I looked back on my weight chart and Iβve essentially been losing and gaining back the same 2+/- lbs since December 26th. I am not giving up though! It will get better!π8 -
@sandielewis2001 im super competitive and Iβm trying to keep up with your WL since we have similar stats. Nice work and thanks for the accountability you donβt even know you provide!!! ππΌ

I saw 191 and even 190 on the scale earlier this week, but guess who's back in town to eff everything up? That's right, it's my period. Ugh. I'll see a whoosh soon enough. I so did not miss going through all this when I was heavier tbqfh, but I def am not mad enough about it to want to go back to where I started, not seriously. My cycle is also really long, about 6 weeks - not sure if that's just my life now, or if my body will settle into a more typical monthly rhythm as time goes on.
I've been productive as heck today - I've done most of the laundry, and I've been a machine in the kitchen all morning. I made some delicious tomato soup for lunch, from almost-scratch (I started with canned whole tomatoes - if they were in season rn I would have gotten fresh). I also made a chocolate-and-cherry baked oatmeal for breakfast next week that I'm really looking forward to, and next week's lunch came together MUCH more easily than the stir-fry, LMAO. It's a warm roasted vegetable pasta salad with turkey kielbasa - I just cut up my kielbasa and veggies (brussels sprouts and mushrooms; there's also squash but I bought that frozen and already cubed, and cherry tomatoes but those I left whole), tossed the veg with some olive oil and then stuck it all in the oven for about half an hour, then mixed that up with some tricolor rotini and dressed the whole thing with a splash of white balsamic vinegar.8 -

Last Sunday I decided to take a bit of a break, and have been eating at maintenance since. Happy to report I successfully maintained for the week, and oddly enough for the first few days I really struggled to actually eat at my maintenance. There were some high calorie snacks and extra glasses of wine thrown in to make sure I got there. Today is my last day, and I am ready to get back at it tomorrow, but will keep it as an option if I get weight-loss fatigued again.
I ordered a proper bikini last week, which I haven't worn in about 14 years, and it arrived yesterday. I tried it on last night, and I am happy to say that I felt better than I thought I would, and will totally be wearing it. I got 2 different bottom options: one is cut a little lower, but has cute ties at the side and offers more cheek coverage. The other sits higher up my waist and covers my jiggly lower stomach, but shows more leg and cheek. I can't decide which one I like better - may have to work up the courage to post and get some opinions, lol. I just have to say though, that the size chart from the company I ordered from definitely didn't go for vanity sizing... I had to order a 4xl to cover the ladies!
Goals for March
- Meet protein goal at least 3x weekly βοΈ 3 of 7
- Meet fiber goal at least 3x weekly βοΈ 5 of 7
- Eat out no more than 1x per week β
- Get minimum of 6000 steps daily βοΈ 6 of 7
- Drink minimum of 8 glasses water daily βοΈ
- Take a day of self-care: Day off work, massage, and manicure/pedicure - still need to schedule this!4 -
