Just have to say I have been back at it for just over a week and catching up on this thread is extremely inspirational. Hard work in terms of resistance training, increased cardio and focusing on my diet! I put my body through hell some days but it's been worth it! 2 months, 20 lbs down! (The Photos below are two months apart)! Celebrating the small wins but I have the larger goals I want to accomplish 💪🏼My face looks so different today and my body has also been changing for the better! It was hard to look at myself in the mirror for a while but I've honestly been trying to put in hard work and nurture my mental health as well as physical health! Life is all about growth ☯️🙂💪🏼🧠✌🏼😌I decided to post this photo due to a comment from a friend on IG regarding my face and some amazing words 😌Be confident, keep working on your goals y'all! Let's crush it this year!😊🤙💪🏼🌎😌

From Class 3 obesity (321 lbs.) to "just" overweight (191 lbs.). I still have about 40-50 pounds to go, and progress is getting slower, but I'm not in any rush to hit my goal weight.134 -

My medium sized shirt from the last official 10k I ran. I was 22. 29 years back. It just so happens they will be holding this one for real not a virtual one on 4/10. 🤔 may decide to enter…

Made it happen… Finished the Austin Capital 10k in 56:40. Not to bad. Overall my rankings were fairly decent.
In overall crowd of 21726 I was in the 11% of finishers
In both overall male and my age of 50-54 bracket I was just above 14% of finishers.
Maybe 🤔 next year I’ll shoot to be in the top 10% across the board. Got a year to improve.

Please excuse the squished up face I am pulling to see the angle. I am not there yet, but I have lost 17.9kg and am almost 2 thirds of the way to my goal weight!
