The first 10 will require the most changes in habits and the most dedication and resolve. Still no good kitchen and lots of travel in the picture this month. This wonβt be easy but it never is.

Iβm seeing the heart doctor today (more travel from this rural area). Iβm sure heβll insist on weight loss. Probably just the push I need to get back in control.

Boy oh boy, have I ever been overusing the condiments in the past! My movement, however, is just not good enough. Very low level energy and scared of my heart problems too. Iβve really got to do better on that front. I have lots of travel on the agenda in the coming week including today. That will not help the scale but I will try to make good choices at the restaurants.

Maybe I need to change my goal for June? I Didn't expect to see it drop that much.
My weight fluctuates a lot. Keep doing what you're doing and keep an eye on the long term trend. If you set too aggressive of a goal and then bounce around back up and down with daily/weekly weigh-in, you can get frustrated.
As a personal example, the scale showed me a 4.8 pound loss over two days... followed by a 3.2 pound gain in one day. Over the last few weeks though, if you look at the trend, it's a lot flatter than that. There's some good apps and websites that can help filter out the noise. I use WeightGrapher and TrendWeight.

Logically, there is no way I should be 1kg lighter than a week ago, but I think what happened was two weeks of βwaterβ retention (thanks hormones!) followed by the weight I had actually lost over those two weeks becoming suddenly apparent.
Still enjoying aiming for 2000kcal. One day I went under by a bit, and another soon after I went over by a lot, but mainly 2000kcal feels βcomfortableβ, and knowing in advance how much Iβm going to eat feels a lot less stressful.
Iβm thinking about keeping a video journal next month. Suddenly 2000kcal is plastered all over the shops in the U.K., stating that it is the average daily calorie requirement, and it might be interesting to show quite what 2000kcal looks like, as well as the fact that Iβm pretty sure it is way too low as an average for the whole population, unless people are attempting to lose weight or we exclude most men.5 -

06/28β¦..β¦..198.8(Trend Weight: 203.0)β¦.. Iβve been very focused this past week. However, Iβve also had several days of travel or events so I am proud of the control I have managed to keep. Logging my food really helps. It sure does cut down on the extras like mayo, sour cream, crackers, BBQ sauce etc. Iβm using a lot less of that. Sometimes the calories are just not worth it. I am wearing a heart monitor right now, hopefully some answers soon since Iβm so afraid of exercise or pushing myself at this point. Even walking has become difficult especially near my home with all the hills & inclines. Iβll know more by mid-July. I am doing what I can, when I can when it comes to exercise.
