Much harder than I thought 20 minutes could be!!!

Sore, but made it through it again.
My upper body and abs are more sore than than my legs...but I worked arms and shoulders yesterday in the gym. Im doing the 30ds
on top of my regular workout schedule because Ive been stuck at 136 for WEEKS!!! Hopefully this will jumpstart my body into the
changes Im wanting. Cant wait to see inches lost at the end....0 -

A little achy, but have some other muscle issues going on at same time (was achy before started!) Was hungry yesterday. Combination of exercise, cooler weather, and slow foot traffic at work. Made decent food choices, just over calorie intake.0 -

Still a bit sore from yesterday, but I did notice that I was able to keep up more today without stopping. Still can't get those push ups done, but working towards it.
Its kinda hard for me to do the cardio part cause I live on the second floor of an apartment and I don't want to disturb the people downstairs. When she come to that part I keep moving but in a slightly different, more quiet, way. I did go for a quick walk/jog after to get some more cardio in.
All in all I feel great and am happy that I did it!!!0 -

Just like carribear I was sore from yesterday - I woke up with achey arms and quads.
And I was oh-so-very sweaty - is anyone else finding this too? I am always the sweatiest girl at the gym, so it might just be me! I felt that the session went a lot faster than yesterday and although the push-ups were still tough, I managed to finish them (Anita style though! I don't know whether I'll be able to do it the Natalie way for quite some time!).
I still have a bit of gym-ache soreness in my arms and quads - which I'm relishing - I haven't felt this for a while, so maybe my muscles have gotten too used to the weights I do at the gym? Hopefully this ache is a sign of the early stages of shredding!
I had a kiwi fruit, pint of water and cup of hot water with lemon before I started at about 10AM this morning. Then had some coconut water and another glass of water before my breakfast. I've eaten pretty well so far today - anyone who is interested please feel free to take a look at my food diary which is open.

I think my food diary is public so feel free to look at it to see how I'm doing...so far so good. I'm in college so I tend to eat lots of grab and go foods, probably not the best stuff, but watching the calories seems to be helping a lot.

Oh mannnnnnnnnn I was sweating a ton during this workout!! It was something else, my roommate wanted to see what it was about and did it with 5lb weights (I used 3lb) and she couldn't believe how hard it was!! But luckily I can get through...the jumping jacks and jump rope are what kill me the most it seems. But after just completing day 2 about 5 minutes ago, I really do love the way I feel right now, that nice burn of "wow I just kicked my own butt into gear". Today at work I was a little stiff, not really sore, but didn't want to bend down to the lowest filing cabinets haha. But overall not too bad, just really important to make sure you do all the stretching and probably a bit more!0 -

I am in! I have been looking for a group to join while I do this. I have alredy done 3 days and am going to take a break today to try out my new Zumba dvd set that came today. I will resume tomorrow and continue on your schedule! I am excited!

Had to work early so didn't get to exercise until tonight and I'm usually an early morning runner. It was kind of fun to have the Shred to look forward to tonight. Not sore yet but can feel it in my arms:bigsmile:

Day 1: I was already a little tired and sore from spin yesterday. Quads feel tight. I think I am going for a bike ride then stretching.
How do we log 30DS in the exercise? I tried just searching for it and it didn't come up.

I need different hand weights, I had 1 pound or 5 pounds, I think 3 pounds might be the ticket. The cardio was the hardest, its that jumping stuff, otherwise good workout!0 -
I got it & ri30!!! I'm pumped but unfortunately I'm tired so I will try to complete 2morrow. For those of you who completed a workout is it best to do it in the morning or evening? Thanks0

I need to acquire the DVD, but I've got the motivation! Sleep is the most important thing to me besides water, so I'll only be able to do it every day if choir practice doesn't run me into the ground.

Started with day 1 today! Wanted to do it this am but ended up waiting til late evening. Debating whether I'm better off doing it in the am or pm tomorrow. I do better if I work out in the am, plus I won't be sore yet so I'm thinking that's what I'll do.
Wasn't too bad, but I found out I definitely don't use my delts a whole lot! My core and legs are pretty strong already so that part wasn't too bad.
My weight bumped up to 153 this am so I guess that's my start weight. I will take measurements and "before" pics in the morning.
Question: I always heard you should do strength training on the same muscles every other day because the recovery helps you build muscle. So I'm a little bit confused about doing the same exercises 10 days in a row??? Oh well, the results speak for themselves I guess.0 -

Hey girls!
As you all see, I feel its my job now to motivate all of you and keep this thread alive!!
So, I will be posting updates from time to time on the thread, so please look for your name and check where you are at!
I did D1L1 yesterday at 11pm :yawn:
I couldnt find time all day! I told DH that I think its better to workout before work, so I wake up at 6:15am, now maybe I have to wake up at 5:20am? YAWWWNNNNNNNN!! I will see if I can work out LOL!
Anyway, my food yesterday was good. Didnt slip, didnt eat junk. I had for breakfast 1 bar of Nature Valley with my coffee. Then I had a fruit 2 hours later. Then a slice of brown bread witih light cheese and a couple of carrots. Then I had chicken stew. Then at night I had TCBY sugar free ice cream - I was craving it! --- I didnt have my salad bec I ran out of veggies at home :sad:
But I made sure I will eat it today!
So, bring on Day 2 L1 (Hey, I actually got tired on day 1 - I only have at home a 4 kilos dumbell which is like 9 pounds?! - I couldnt breathe!! but then again I dont like working out with light weight, but this killed me! my body trembled all the time LOL. I will have to find lighter weights for today!)

Just finished my day three workout.
Starting to find it less strenuous - it might be time for the Natalie versions of things. (Though has anyone else noticed that she doesn't try so hard when Jillian's back is turned?!) I also sweated slightly less! Aching in calves and abs today.
My food will be mostly clean again today, but going to an event later on that will have drinks and canapes.... give me strength!

I did push ups!! That's really what I was having a hard time doing and today I pushed through them!!! I feel so great!! The soreness I had before isn't there anymore!! The muscle feels so good once you work them out again.
I didn't get up to early today so not walk but man I was sweating up a storm so I don't feel to bad catching up on some sleep.

Wanted to say good job to all of you who are doing this!
Today will actually be day 3 for me on level 1. And I am so very sore. But I pushed through it yesterday and made it through it all. My legs are sore my arms are sore my stomachs sore. But I love it! Can't wait to do it again today after work! Only time I can do it is after work. Which it doesn't matter because either way I'm doing it!0 -
I woke up at 5:30 am to make sure I got my workout done....and over with, with no excuses. I'm pretty good at thinking of them!

Diet - ate under calorie (1200) allotment, wasn't hungry so i'm not going to worry about it.0 -
