What is your "Petty" Reason to Lose Weight?

I have a ton of petty reasons but many of them actually help me keep the weight off not really helped me lose it. I wanted to be the thin one and now I am and don’t want to ever be the fat one again. Anywhere in any situation.

SO. MUCH. ALL. OF. THIS! Only mine wasn’t an outfit I should get rid of, it was that I would never be a size 12 (Australian) I’m actually a size 10 now so there’s that 🤭

I don’t know how “petty” it is, but we just made reservations in the Keys and I want an amazing picture by the Southernmost Point of the US marker.. you know the one? That’s it. Amazing. Full. Body. Picture with my husband and kids.

It’s not until late November, but I’m so excited! 😀 Just keep going!

Totally foolish, but if I ever marry, I want a fit, healthy husband. Hard to feel like I'm good enough for one if I'm not fit myself. I'm 31 and have never dated, though, so it's unlikely I'll even have to worry about this.

Another petty thing: too many people in my life share their opinions on the beauty of women, with the unintended implication being that I am not attractive. I'll never be taller than 5'1" and I will never get into heavy makeup, but I want to prove I can still be beautiful!

I want to bring out the fire in my husband like we had before I had our sons. I feel like the desire is gone since I put on the weight. I see him look at other women. I try not to let it bother me but it does. So I want to be that "Hot wife" that has everyone staring... and I want a Brazilian buttlift dag gone it!

Initially it was to feel comfortable being in pictures with my family and for my kids to not have the fat mom.

It has morphed into so much more. It is still about dropping pounds but I also now want to improve my health and my family’s. I want to live forever. Just kidding. But I do want to have a great quality of life when I am older. I don’t want to be plagued by health problems. I know I can’t control everything but there are things I can do to set myself up for success. And I am working to do just that. I want to enjoy retirement (which is a long way off).

I don't really have any petty reasons. I just want to be healthy as I get older - don't want health problems. And if I have health problems - I want to be able to be healthy enough to get over them in a timely manner.

I just want to see myself as hot, enough so that I could actually believe others see me the same way. I kind of want other women to be jealous of me. I want to feel like I am skinny. Those are my "petty" reasons, but I've got some solid, foundational motivation as well.

i want my neck and face to look thin in passport size photos. I got some clicked in May this year and oh *kitten* i just wanted to die!! I looked like a butcher/biker dude with a very thick neck and heavy shoulders

I lost a ton of weight before I met my now ex partner. I gained all the weight back, and then some over the eight years we were together. Now I want to prove I can do it again!

I’m hopefully going to be training to become a Police Officer when I finish my degree so I’m needing to lose some weight and also gain some strength along the way 😊

My petty reasons? Because I miss being a size 3 and making my SO salivate at the thought of me wearing nothing under his work shirt. He loves me, but I do feel like a lot of our intimate time is more out of habit and because we do love eachother, rather than a real sense of desire (if that makes any sense). Also, I look like a busted can of biscuit dough (google pilsbury biscuit dough for those not from America) in just about everything that I wear. I am supposed to wear business casual and I literally wear the same three outfits because I feel awful in everything else that I wear.
