08/07-198.2-(Trend Weight 200.7)- Glucose has remained very high these past few days (since surgery). Logging every bite the last few so I know I’m not missing anything and weight is dropping. Why so high? I don’t get it! The only change is the lack of exercise until I am allowed. But I am moving pretty steady with simple housecleaning, stretches etc. Baffled!
08/08-196.4-(Trend Weight 200.3)- A very nice drop after a very good day. I’ve been working pretty hard to make my scratch-off chart listed above a little more honest after I drifted back up into the 200’s. Travel today and tomorrow, both involving food but I will try to be reasonable. I’m officially allowed more movement starting tomorrow, but I did sneak on the exercise bike for about 16 minutes last night. It must have pushed the scale.

I have been on MFP since October 2018.
I am close to 10 pounds heavier than this time last year.
Hoping to drop weight this month, but have extended company coming, an old friend who is a chef and cooks amazing meals. So much for my grilled chicken with veggies or salad. I will do my best.
I gained 0.6 last month
Monday August 01 - 139.2 - Using last month's EW. A holiday in my Province today, but not a food holiday. I am working.
Tuesday August 02 - 138.6 - Hoping to continue to see drops before my company arrives on Saturday so that I have a "cushion". Feeling pretty lean this morning.
Wednesday August 03 - 139.0 - I had planned a cleanse for later in August, but Wild Rose has been discontinued. It is a bunch of herbs and a food plan. I do know the food columns of what to have 80% of each day etc. The herbs are organ specific. I will be looking into what else is available. Does anyone have a good kit that they use?
Thursday August 04 - 138.8 - Going to keep it very light for the next couple of days before my company arrives. He is a chef and I expect to be eating more (and richer) food than usual starting Saturday for 8 days
Friday August 05 - 139.9 - Quite surprised at this jump up, I had a very good day exercise and food wise. Going to try to take it in stride, actually feeling lean this morning.
Saturday August 05 - 138.1 - That was the last of being "good" for the next 8 days. I am going to try not to be rude and sit at the kitchen table at my laptop reading and writing into these forums while I have company (in a couple more hours from now). I will be logging and weighing, just not sure if I will make it on here or not.

08/09-198.8-(Trend Weight 200.1)- Took my son to Outback during yesterday’s travels. He had never been there. I ate reasonably but no movement whatsoever. Travel canceled for today so I hope to keep it extra clean. Having a dinner reunion of sorts this weekend with my group of best friends when I was growing up. I haven’t seen most of them in 45 years except in my heart. This will involve travel and food, and I am admittedly very anxious about how I’ve aged and how I look, but I’ve missed them for too long!

My goal this month is to maintain weight as well as increase activity. I will be moving at some point this month so I will be doing a lot of packing. Have been waiting for a definite start date on a new job, but they are still going through the process of doing background checks and such. I currently work for the State and have been accepted for another position with the State. Unfortunately, they won't just open my personnel file and retrieve the information they already have, they are doing it all over again from scratch. It has been over a month since they began. It's very frustrating. Anyway, somehow I am hoping to find time to increase workouts/walks while packing and preparing for a wedding.

08/02: 188.7 - Went swimming. Limited my iced tea/lemonade consumption to 1 glass at work.
08/03: 190.1 - Later dinner with family, heavy carbs in that meal, stress ate before bed. Sigh.
08/04: 188.6 - Stayed within my calories.
08/05: 190.0 - Came home from busy day at work to dinner made by my hubby. I thought I could "guestimate" the calories since I was starving, but once I went back and entered everything that was on that dish, I was way over calories.
08/06: 190.5 - Still combating late night hunger/cravings.
08/07: 190.5 - Zumba day. It was a lot of fun, but my left hip isn't having fun today. Lol!
08/08: 190.7 - Had a sugary drink at work again but only ate roasted veggies when I came home late.

08/10-197.0-(Trend Weight 199.8)- I had an excellent eating day yesterday and got in a little mild exercise which I am easing into. I rode the exercise bike for 20 minutes. Amazing considering that just a few short months ago I thought that 3 minutes felt like hours and could only do the 3 minutes at a time! My glucose remains much too high since surgery with no explanation. I have been very weak and sickly these past couple of days and I think it’s related to that and possibly the new meds. Stress doesn’t help either and with the wedding planning for my daughter, well, let’s just say that very little is going right. Today my handymen will start the process of putting an Egress window down to my son’s apartment in the basement. I will feel much safer because of his disabilities to have it in place. Pics are below, sorry I don't know how to make these smaller.

With my right leg in a beautiful walking boot due to a stress fracture from March that I finally got diagnosed/xrayed in late July, my exercise is nil. My entire goal for the month is to not gain. While in Orlando for work, my focus is going to be protein + veg.

I have managed to completely break my habit of check in here daily, I know I was much more motivated when I checked in here every morning and caught up with everyone.4 -

His first day went well. It's a much larger school than he's use to. His sophomore class is the size of his previous school! He's a cutie and injured, so he had a lot of assistance from the girls in his classes. Yes, it seems early, but all the schools around here start this soon. I miss the good ole days of starting right after Labor Day weekend. They have more "holidays" and breaks than I had in school. Thank you for asking!3 -

08/10-197.0-(Trend Weight 199.8)- I had an excellent eating day yesterday and got in a little mild exercise which I am easing into. I rode the exercise bike for 20 minutes. Amazing considering that just a few short months ago I thought that 3 minutes felt like hours and could only do the 3 minutes at a time! My glucose remains much too high since surgery with no explanation. I have been very weak and sickly these past couple of days and I think it’s related to that and possibly the new meds. Stress doesn’t help either and with the wedding planning for my daughter, well, let’s just say that very little is going right. Today my handymen will start the process of putting an Egress window down to my son’s apartment in the basement. I will feel much safer because of his disabilities to have it in place. 08/11-198.0-(Trend Weight 199.6)- I had a mini-binge last night because I skipped lunch and threw away exactly half of my dinner. I had terrible heart episodes all evening and night and was closer to 911 than I have ever been so appetite was gone until very late when I ate. Blood pressure was running way too low for hours 81/51 but pulse kept running at about 100-105 resting. I had to instruct my son on the nitro, just in case, clear a spot for an ambulance gurney to get in (among this remodel mess), talk to him about aspirin for me, and lay down because fainting was a very real possibility. I sipped a lot of water in case it was dehydration (water pill yesterday). I tried to stay calm. I hooked myself to my Bi-pap machine for some regular breathing and it finally subsided. Of course, I am very far from a hospital and didn’t want to go through that unless I absolutely had to. Finally, feeling better at 11:30 PM, I was hungry and ate. It was not really a binge or unreasonable, but I tried snacks first which didn’t work, then went on to eat a small meal. But the two added together put me over calorie by about 400. I should have skipped the snacks and went right to the meal. BP this morning is 82/53 but pulse is much better at 86 and heart is not beating out of chest. Very strange on the pulse since they put me specifically on a med to lower pulse. It’s been running 80’s to low 90’s which is normal. I’m not sure what happened, that is why I sipped plenty of water because dehydrations can cause this problem too. More water today, and today is not a normally scheduled waterpill anyway. Maybe the stress of this very quick wedding planning is getting to me. Maybe complications from surgery. I am keeping an eye on it for sure and I hope it don’t interfere with my reunion dinner tomorrow. Driving could be out. The dinner is about 2 ½ hours from my home as we are all “meeting in the middle” of where we live. We’ll see how today goes.

08/02: 188.7 - Went swimming. Limited my iced tea/lemonade consumption to 1 glass at work.
08/03: 190.1 - Later dinner with family, heavy carbs in that meal, stress ate before bed. Sigh.
08/04: 188.6 - Stayed within my calories.
08/05: 190.0 - Came home from busy day at work to dinner made by my hubby. I thought I could "guestimate" the calories since I was starving, but once I went back and entered everything that was on that dish, I was way over calories.
08/06: 190.5 - Still combating late night hunger/cravings.
08/07: 190.5 - Zumba day. It was a lot of fun, but my left hip isn't having fun today. Lol!
08/08: 190.7 - Had a sugary drink at work again but only ate roasted veggies when I came home late.
08/09: 189.8 - Working hard at work.
08/10: 189.6 - Did not overindulge at dinner.

My goal this month is to maintain weight as well as increase activity. I will be moving at some point this month so I will be doing a lot of packing. Have been waiting for a definite start date on a new job, but they are still going through the process of doing background checks and such. I currently work for the State and have been accepted for another position with the State. Unfortunately, they won't just open my personnel file and retrieve the information they already have, they are doing it all over again from scratch. It has been over a month since they began. It's very frustrating. Anyway, somehow I am hoping to find time to increase workouts/walks while packing and preparing for a wedding.

With my right leg in a beautiful walking boot due to a stress fracture from March that I finally got diagnosed/xrayed in late July, my exercise is nil. My entire goal for the month is to not gain. While in Orlando for work, my focus is going to be protein + veg.

I am close to 10 pounds heavier than this time last year.
Hoping to drop weight this month, but have extended company coming, an old friend who is a chef and cooks amazing meals. So much for my grilled chicken with veggies or salad. I will do my best.

Monday August 01 - 139.2 - Using last month's EW. A holiday in my Province today, but not a food holiday. I am working.
Tuesday August 02 - 138.6 - Hoping to continue to see drops before my company arrives on Saturday so that I have a "cushion". Feeling pretty lean this morning.
Wednesday August 03 - 139.0 - I had planned a cleanse for later in August, but Wild Rose has been discontinued. It is a bunch of herbs and a food plan. I do know the food columns of what to have 80% of each day etc. The herbs are organ specific. I will be looking into what else is available. Does anyone have a good kit that they use?
Thursday August 04 - 138.8 - Going to keep it very light for the next couple of days before my company arrives. He is a chef and I expect to be eating more (and richer) food than usual starting Saturday for 8 days
Friday August 05 - 139.9 - Quite surprised at this jump up, I had a very good day exercise and food wise. Going to try to take it in stride, actually feeling lean this morning.
Saturday August 05 - 138.1 - That was the last of being "good" for the next 8 days. I am going to try not to be rude and sit at the kitchen table at my laptop reading and writing into these forums while I have company (in a couple more hours from now). I will be logging and weighing, just not sure if I will make it on here or not.

08/12-197.8-(Trend Weight 199.4)- Eating was not very good yesterday with daughter and grandson here for the weekend. Homemade chocolate banana walnut muffins and real 2% milk. I’m surprised to see a drop. I stuck to plan on meals but there was no room for that hefty snack! Blood pressure is still running way to low with the average being about 82/53 and pulse still running a bit high. It’s in the mid 90’s but should be much lower due to the lopresser medication I’m on. Watching it carefully but felt okay yesterday. Glucose is still much too high and the muffins didn’t make things any better. Staying away from them today! I have my reunion dinner tomorrow at a buffet. I’m going to try to eat like a lady tomorrow.
