  • Hello Kay,

    I know how fustrating it can be not losing what you want to but every body is different and the weight that is coming off slowly is a good thing it means your less likely to gain it back. Just remember it took time to put this weight on its going to take time to get rid of it. It has taken me over a year and a half to lose 51 pound. My thought is Im not really concerned about how much Ive lost in a certain amount of time but how much better I feel from say last week even if I only lost a pound. Its a long hual but when you get there it will be an awwwww defining moment. Your not just changing your body but also your mind. I think your doing fabulous keep it going as the same pace you will be better off in the long run.
    Do you like pudding? Jello pudding is sugar free and fat free and I find that gives me the sweet Im craving without the fat and sugar. All so yoplait source yogurt mmmmm yummy that tastes good in oatmeal. Take care Kay and talk to you soon

    Thanks Christy! You made me feel better. :flowerforyou: I know that you are right, but sometimes I just think that I won't ever get to the weight that I want to be, but I won't quit, no matter what!!! I do like pudding but I haven't even thought about buying any. I will pick me up some tomorrow. :smile:

    WHAT DID I DO FOR
    MY MIND? I took a few minutes out of my day to just chill clear my mind
    MY BODY? I said no to the bad food and ate the good stuff and made sure I was hydrated
    MY SPIRIT? I did a good deed for a friend today
    MY RELATIONSHIP? I listen to my spouse and gave him support
    MY CREATIVITY AND PASSION? I did my hairdressing which I get to do hair coloring which is my favorite!!!and I hung out with the kids at school Im not sure I have found my passion yet but Im working on it :)

    WHAT DID I DO FOR MY MIND? I rested for like an hour! MY BODY? I worked out this morning and I will work out again tonight & I am fully hydrated! MY SPIRIT? I reminded myself that I am a good mom and I deserve peace. (working out helps a lot too!) MY RELATIONSHIP? hmmm...not been the best at that yet. MY CREATIVITY AND PASSION? honestly I am passionate about working out! Thank you for making me think about this. I will make it a point to pay more attention to all these details.

    MY SPIRIT~Walked my dog this morning. Socialized with the park peeps.

    MY MIND~refreshed my knowledge of spelling by helping my son with home work
    MY BODY~made homemade pizza instead of ordering
    MY SPIRIT~took care of my middle son by taking him to a specialist and finding out that mothers know when things are wrong
    MY RELATIONSHIP~ Let my hubby sleep in while I took care of the kids.
    MY CREATIVITY AND PASSION~colored a picture with my son today. i love to color :love:

    MY MIND - I keep thinking what I have done for my mind and I keep coming up blank. :huh:
    MY BODY - Went to the gym to get healthy. :happy:
    MY SPIRIT - Spent some time with my great-grandson. He does so much for my spirit!!! :heart:
    MY RELATIONSHIP - Gave the hubby a hug and told him that I love him!!! :love:
    MY CREATIVITY AND PASSION - Not very creative but my family is my passion and was very happy that I got to spend a lot of time with them today, (it was my little brother and sister's birthday) :flowerforyou:
  • for last weeks challenge I got 6 out of 7 i had one off day but on the plus side I was able to lose yay!!!

    MY MIND~I started to read my eReader (finally) it relaxed me
    MY BODY~I went swimming and walked felt great but I stretched more so today then I ever have and it feels good
    MY SPIRIT~I thought positive and didnt let anything bring me down
    MY RELATIONSHIP~ I let the stupid things go and made sure my friends and family know that I might get busy but i love them
    MY CREATIVITY AND PASSION~I started to organize my necklaces and plan on making some more and thinking about making sundays my days to make more of them.

    WHAT DID I DO FOR Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

    MY MIND~(Mon) read come of my book (Percy Jackson), Tuesday-Vented to a friend about my basement flooding and didn't kill anyone (bad temper), Wed-Called into work so I can get the basement stress of my mind.
    MY BODY~ (mon) Walked around at work instead of being lazy, Tues-Ran up and down steps trying to salvage things in basement Wed-Shop Vacing my basement is great exercise and ran the pup
    MY SPIRIT~Mon-I made sure I got a bit of ME time, Tues-I was nice to a customer even though they deserved a punch in the face Wed-I refused to let this basement get the best of me and I am determined to get it done.
    MY RELATIONSHIP~ Mon-I let myself be silly with a new friend (I am shy), Tues-I asked a coworker to borrow a shop vac and their husband delivered it to my car personally! Wed-I didn't yell about my frustrations, I just did them and worked through them to get things done!
    MY CREATIVITY AND PASSION~Mon-reading before bed! (me time) Tues-Puppy was loving on me and she is one of my most dearest passions Wed-I decided to pain my puppys toe nails after the basement is done (hopefully tonight)

    WHAT DID I DO FOR THIS WEEK SO FAR...

    MY MIND--> Sat down with my husband and layed out all the bills for the next month so that everything is planned out and wont be so stressfull every payday hopefully.

    MY BODY--> Just started 30 Day Shred. Today is Day 3 and I am proud of myself for making it through days 1 and 2 without quiting.

    MY SPIRIT--> Told myself that I deserve to be happy and healthy and will accomplish those things no matter what gets in my way!

    MY RELATIONSHIP--> Played a video game with my husband, just the two of us. Sounds silly, but it is nice QT time for us because its something we both enjoy and have fun doing.

    MY CREATIVITY AND PASSION--> Decided to rearrange my son's bedrooms. Making a good start to it. Gonna take some time to go through everything but we are donating a lot so that makes me feel happy and gives my kids a chance to do something nice for others.

    MY MIND~I released some stress by talking with a friend.
    MY BODY~went for a 50min walk.
    MY SPIRIT~ told myself that Im worth it.
    MY RELATIONSHIP~Remembered to call a dear friend and wish her a happy birthday.
    MY CREATIVITY AND PASSION~I love the walking im doing I can say that im passionate about it :)

  • MY MIND~Took 20 mins and just breathed closed my eyes and trued to slow down my thoughts not to get myself too overwhelmed
    MY BODY~I pushed myself to go to the gym even if I only was able to workout for 33 mins but i know i will sleep good tonight
    MY SPIRIT~was able to look at myself and think with complete confidence that I can do this
    MY RELATIONSHIP~ I left school early with enough time to spend time with my family and just talked
    MY CREATIVITY AND PASSION~I have started to learn a new lanuage and i am able to speak more clearer with my deaf friends

    MY MIND - got some things done today I can now get them outof my mind :)
    MY BODY - Walked around the mall it was pouring outside
    MY SPIRIT - went shopping with a friend, friends are great for the spirit
    MY RELATIONSHIP -told my hubby and kids I loved them very much
    MY CREATIVITY AND PASSION - I did lunch hour monitoring and got to act like a kid

    Just have to say I love that you guys are sharing so nice to get to know you better :)

    MY MIND~ I organized my stuff and did a TO DO LIST for today and did allow myself to get stressed today
    MY BODY~ I was going to go to the gym but I started to walk for about 30 mins but for some reason my body just wanted to rest. So I listened and rested today
    MY SPIRIT~ Spent time with my best friend cried, laughed and ended up venting felt great
    MY RELATIONSHIP~ I spend some time with my mom today it felt great
    MY CREATIVITY AND PASSION~I started my facebook web sight for my necklaces havent put up pictures of my necklaces to start to sell them

    MY MIND--> Planned out payments plans for our cruise next yr.
    MY BODY--> Stayed hydrated, had plenty of water for the week. Didnt exercise as much but I did some things.
    MY SPIRIT--> Told myself that I can do it!! Not to complain and do the best I can do to accomplish my goal.
    MY RELATIONSHIP--> Enjoyed time with hubby and loved that fact he noticing a change in me.
    MY CREATIVITY AND PASSION--> Getting on a new level, spiritually, emotionally, and physically!!! Getting closer to Christ and learning more about me and my health.

    MY MIND - I decided to dust off Dr. Oz and Dr. Roizen's book called "YOU The Owners Manual" I have had it for a long time, but just now decided to start reading it. I'm on chapter 2. It's all about the heart. :heart:
    MY BODY - I went to Gold's Gym today and worked out for 40 minutes.
    MY SPIRIT - My spirit soared when I decided that I needed a belt since my jeans are getting a little loose on me, and when I buckled up my belt, I was able to go all the way to the last hole on my belt :-) Sooooooo happy!!!
    MY RELATIONSHIP - Since my hubby has given up ice cream for me, I made him some banana ice cream with a frozen banana, splenda, and vanilla almond milk. He loved it :-)
    MY CREATIVITY AND PASSION - Still working on my passion of losing weight and getting healthy!!!
  • MY MIND - I have taken a look at my life and found that i need to make serious changes
    MY BODY -Although i didnt have time I made myself go to the gym work out at least 30 mins felt great
    MY SPIRIT -I did the right thing I told a friend how one of my other friends tried to get him into trouble (my friend is deaf) and my friend might find out that i told him but it was the right thing to do and i feel good its not right to get a person in trouble for something wasnt their fault
    MY CREATIVITY AND PASSION - doing whats best for me and about to just stop talking to certain people dont need that type of person in my life

    MY MIND - I took a time out and played son video games with the hubby and my yougest son. I shut my mind off LOL
    MY BODY - I havent been as good to my body as I should have been but at least I know that and I can work on that
    MY SPIRIT - As a mother I got the best compliment in the world. My sons went to a birthday party today at planet laser I couldnt go because my youngest was ill so the 2 went with my friend. I asked the Oldest son who is 9 to look out for his brother who is 6 and he did. I heard from 2 parent who were there they both told me that I should be sooooo proud of my son he was taking care of is little brother with such love and caring and not bossing him around but actually caring for him. It brings tears to my eyes and joy to my soul :heart:
    MY RELATIONSHIP -told my hubby many times today that I loved him very much:smooched:
    MY CREATIVITY AND PASSION - worked on encouraging others today and making them feel good :flowerforyou:

    MY MIND - I am on chapter 5 of "YOU The Owners Manuel" It is about our lungs. It really is a very good book :-)
    MY BODY - I haven't done it yet, but when I get home, I will be "Sweatin To The Oldies."
    MY SPIRIT - I got on the scale this morning and was 3 pounds lighter :-) You just don't know how that made me spirit soar!!!
    MY RELATIONSHIP - I will be spending the day with my son, daughter-in-law and my parents. I always go see mama and daddy every Sunday because I don't live as close to them as my brother and sisters do, so I always look forward to Sundays!!!
    MY CREATIVITY AND PASSION - I know that I keep saying it and my passion is to get healthy, so even though my son and daughter-in-law will be taking me out to eat, I will make sure that it is a healthy meal!!! I don't want to start going backwards!!!
