Treated my body like trash for 20 years, only took a year to feel like I got them back and some
Heaviest 244 lbs fatty liver, no energy, depressed, looked and felt like death.
Current 165 lbs optimal blood work (no longer have fatty liver) happy, full of energy & love myself again (not for vanity reasons but for treating my body and mind like it means something!)
Couch to 5k program is what really amped up my progress and went from struggling to go up a flight of stairs or walking a block to running a 5k road race in 29 mins!
Currently half way through a 5k to 10k training program and don't intend on stopping there, slow and steady, one step at a time my goal is to run a marathon.

@Life_On_The_Lake, you look like a whole different guy (and I'm sure you feel like one) . . . but I gotta say: One of my very, very favorite things on MFP is to see someone saying things like "optimal blood work" and "no longer have fatty liver". That is powerful, amazing stuff - the best.
Congratulations on your hard work, and its stunning results!21 -
