I love that your goal weight is 170. Mine is 180. I know that I feel good around there. I’m 45 and have lost 22 since July. It’s going to be a long journey but I don’t have any modeling commitments coming up that I need to panic and do it unhealthy to get to. 😉.
Good luck and stay with it. It’s crazy hard with a little one but it’s never going to be easier. I have had 5. Now I’m looking to be healthy to run around with my grandkids.

I don’t have a real good support system I started july 1 22. I’ve lost 28.6 lbs. I’m not on a real special eating plan just track my food, eat the 1200 calories. Last week I made a pie. Cut it into 8 pieces. My husband isn’t obese, ate it, my son ate it. I looked up the calories 425. I planned to eat it. Decided I didn’t want it that bad. Finally one evening after dinner I looked up my calories for the day + my exercise calories decided I could eat the last piece.
I come from a long line of obesity. I had one relative who lost probably 800lbs in her life she’d lose 100 lbs keep it off for a couple yeArs. Gain it back. My dad ate the cabbage soup stuff. He’d lose 50 60 lbs but you can’t stay on that diet long term. My one aunt lost weight and kept it off for probably 45 years. Died at 96 she was a healthy weight.
She watched her diet and she walked. The town she lived it might have been 3 miles (5K) around she’d walk the town pick up the cans, and trash. She cashed in the soft drink and beer cans for the 5 cents refund donated the money to charity.
I have 11 relatives who have had weight loss surgery. It isn’t a cure it’s a tool. It forces you to follow a healthy diet. Cause you get sick if you don’t. One of my friends lost probably 150 lbs, but slowly she’s gained much of it back. Over maybe 15 years, in that 15 years she got married, adopted a child.
All of my friends family that have done that surgery have said they were glad they did it.1 -
