π Welcome all new first timers to this challenge and "Hello again" to those returning for another month, another year, another round. π
I joined back in September of 2021, which was my first month back on MFP. In the first 9 months, I lost 40 pounds and use this challenge as motivation to stay on track. It is nice to have a medium-term goal that gets broken down into manageable chunks.
Pick your own goal, check in once per week, and at the very end of the month. Let's keep encouraging each other & staying focused on our individual goals.
You can change the dates to suit you, but try to keep it weekly as it shows off the weekly progress betterπ

I'll join. In the past few months, I've been very inconsistent. I seem to lose 5lbs and then gain it right back. Hopefully I can stick with this challenge to help me be more consistent.

Hi, Joining this post because I want some accountability with my goals.
I am actually adding two other items for each week since I am a type 2 diabetic (for 26 years) but am on an insulin pump to try to control my blood sugar. Drβs typically donβt tell you the health issues with high insulin levels and they donβt check for that. These issues include heart issues, joint issues, eye issues, kidney issues, infection issues, sexual issues for both men and women and the list goes on.
I am a Male 6 ft 1 in.
My goal includes not only weight loss, but also a lower average glucose level and lower insulin levels. (I use a FreeStyle Libre to monitor my blood glucose and I have an insulin pump to give myself extra insulin although my pancreas still is producing some insulin.) As I monitor these three items, I am looking for improvements in all three.

This is exactly what I am needing. I have lost weight in the past, but it is slowly creeping back on. I am not having success losing weight on my own and need accountability this time. I know what I need to be doing to be healthy; however, I am far from doing any of those things.
I will be turning 50 in April and want to feel healthy and confident when I hit that milestone. As a birthday gift to myself, I have signed up for a run at Walt Disney in Florida. I will be so disappointed in myself if I am not in better shape for the run.
Thank you in advance for the accountability and encouraging comments/posts. We can do this together π
