A little mid-week update.
I haven't been updating my weight here on my MFP profile regularly. I had been when I was in maintenance. I set my profile not to send out a note on my feed because I thought it was silly for it to keep announcing I lost a few tenths of a pound. Over and over. Because I was gaining and losing the same few pounds.
Well, when COVID-19 arrived in early 2020, I was still ~mostly~maintaining until about October of that year. Then I gained. And gained. I did lose and gain some, but it was at a higher weight than I had been able to maintain for several years. It was a little frustrating. What am I saying; it was ANNOYING. I tried not to let it get to me because I was still in a healthy BMI range most of the time. I did pop out of both my ideal and my absolute maintenance ranges. I didn't like that.
I had decided a year or so ago not to update my profile weight until I hit a new low. I did that a few times. The last time I did that was back in May. Well, today the scale told me I had attained a mass slightly lower than that, so I updated MFP's profile.
Today I weighed less than I have weighed since October, 2020. I am now well within my maintenance range, and I'm just a few pounds over what used to be my goal weight. I might actually even get there. For sure I'll surpass my monthly goal on this challenge; that's something I haven't done since... since I really don't remember when.
Sad thing is it took me getting sick and having unsustainable loss rate to get here. I'll take that windfall and get back to maintaining like I used to do!7 -

I almost didn't post this week. I almost gave up because of that damn number. 150. It's just a number, and I know this process is ups and downs, but it just feels like I can't get through the wall of 150. But I have rallied, and will continue on. It's just a number.

Total loss for November Oh my. It looks like I've lost eight pounds so far this month. I've lost 2.5 pounds this week. I am feeling much better; almost back to 95%, and I'm trying to continue the loss that was a result of being sick. It was one of the only good things about being sick; I'm not sure why it's making it easier to continue. I'm back in middle of my maintenance/goal range. YAY!7 -
Hello everyone
Glad to be here and updating my weight this Monday I am impressed with my weight loss progress this week.
I havenβt been losing much weight on the scale for the past two week! The roller coaster of βdisappointment on the scale and eating whatever I wantβ was about to start but I kept consistent thank God!
All of a sudden this morning I found significant weight loss! I think I have been losing weight but wasnβt showing on the scale for the past couple of weeks, not sure why ! Sometimes I donβt understand my body but I have learned to be patient and not rush the results..

When I decided to get serious about my health journey at the beginning of the month I did not know that my dad would be finding out he has colon cancer and would need immediate surgery. I have been traveling back home and helping with my dad often this month (4hours away). It has been a challenge to stick to my original plan for this month, but proudly can say I have successfully done it. I have been stronger than the temptation to stress eat, stronger than the excuse I am too tired/donβt have the time to eat healthy and I have found the time to get my steps in. It has not been easy and I have had a lot of temptations, but I feel so much better than I have in a long time. Making sure I am taking care of yourself is just as important as taking care of my dad. We have a long road ahead of us but I now know I have the strength inside of me to get through ANYTHING! Total loss so far 16 lbs!!!
